4 years ago I filmed the Dandelion tremolo from Flower Pedals and now they send me their expanded deluxe tremolo concept the Sunflower, it's given me a unique opportunity to look back an reflect a bit on my years of doing all these silly little guitar gear videos. Also, THIS THING IS A BEAST! Stereo, presets, ramping and drifting and all kinds of other tweaky options I didn't get get a chance to cover in this unboxing and first impression video.

The two princes thing is worn to the tread. The forced/faked laugh don't help it. That pseudo-tongue-in-cheek gimmick is just a lame gimmick.

Quarantining in a hotel room with COVID and seeing this video made my day since am feeling really lousy. Wow, what a flexible pedal and the fact that it has a volume control makes it so worthwhile. The options are really comprehensive, we like the wave form options knob too. Thanks for testing with the Wampler Belle (the only other gain pedal on my board besides a Dumble clone). Sounds great with the drippy Surfy Bear reverb. Totally surf approved in our book, thanks Ryan!
Sounds quite nice (and also quite versatile). This only miss is that they didn't put the LEDs in the centers of the sunflowers.
Cool video, Ryan. Been watching your channel since the Vox AC15/MV 50 comparison. I love how you handle the trolls in your comment section. My two cents for them - Why would they watch a video about a tremolo pedal, if they have no use for a tremolo and then waste the energy to comment about how much they have no use for tremolo? Must be a miserable life.
That’s a good question, why even click the video if they really don’t need or want a tremolo pedal? I feel like the video is pretty clearly marked.

Some incredible tones here! Love that reverb, and the trem thing is indeed intimidating but sounds amazing. I'm your target audience for this one for sure. Reverb and trem are a must for me at all times pretty much. OD and compression too, but I could live without those.

That slow tremolo rate on the lows and fast rate on the highs really has a cool Leslie sound
Your dandelion video was the first one of yours I saw when I was researching tremolo pedals. It wasn't a great video but it did make me want the dandelion! I ended up getting an EHX Super Pulsar used instead but now I really want the Flower Pedals phaser (Castilleja) and auto-wah (Hosta). They're so pretty!

As a synth player (not good but it's what I like, not a guitar player) this seems like the perfect tremolo pedal for me that I have been looking for.
Love the in depth petal review. Only a few minutes in, hope to hear it into a fuzz.
The actual tones coming out of it are very pretty but that wobbling is like deeply uncomfortable. Not my thing but still a neat little pedal and a great review as always. Keep up the good work man.
I don't know how I can fit this into my playing style, but I do like it. It can easily achieve that "How Soon is Now" Johnny Mar tremolo. I like how clear it is without that irritating chopiness that I tend to hate with most tremolo effects. I would like to demo it for a week before deciding to add this to the ol board.
How does this compare to the Mr. Black Panatrem? I'm trying to find a stereo tremolo that'll do panning and sounds great.

I play the old big box Stereo Semiphore with Stereo outs & its the first pedal after the mono section. I'd love to put trem at the end of the stereo chain now...even if it messes my stereo/mono partition.
And the Surfy Bear always drips goodness.
The Sunflower seems to have most of the important trem features the Semiphore has plus some like the latch feature I dig on the Walrus Slotva. Its harmonic trem was great like the Keeley Heizeman TremOVerb.
This is what happens when you shove a rack effect into a pedal.

With some experimenting it should be possible.

Squier makes decent stuff these day, honestly I haven’t tried a ton of other jaguars, but I love this one.

I’m looking for a new tremolo pedal right now. I’m into more subtle tremolo but a square wave is cool with fuzz. I had and sold the MXR M305 Tremolo. It sounded good but I thought it was overkill for my needs. I want something very simple to give me amp like tremolo with low to no noise and a volume control. The only pedal that checks those boxes for me is the Chill by Jam pedals. It only has 3 knobs and if you turn the depth down it can be used as a boost.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? I’m trying to keep it in the $200 range.

Super mean trem! I dont think Ive heard a better one! The best Ive heard til this point was the Supa Trem 2…. But I think this one takes it! The dual simultaneous speeds are just DUMB
