Holy shit, I never knew Craig was the drummer for Viatrophy. My high school band used to play Seas of Storms all the time! I thought we were the only people that knew that band existed hahaha
It follows and under the silver lake also have the same composer. Richard Vreeland (aka disasterpeace). He is probably my favorite composer and his ost for fez and hyper light drifter are incredible. Awesome ambient projects as well
The Fall mentioned, LFG! Beautiful movie. Loved this episode, made me wanna check out the band. Insane music, all over the place, love it. Also my movie rec list grew by a ridiculous amount.
Opened two shows with The Callous Daoboys and they were unbelievably nice and gracious and fun to be around. I’m so glad they’re getting spotlight, they absolutely deserve it. Big love to Carson and The Daoboys
Dying at the soundbar and restraunt stories. Used to do similar in my first job in retail, would randomly play the intro to slade - I wish it could be Christmas on loop at random times of the year, absolute shop clearer.
Glad these guys admire Mike Patton. He is one of the best frontmen/vocalists/musicians to emerge from the 80's music scene. That he is still making great music is a testament to how talented he is.

He's superrrrr chill. We both nerded out over ProMark sticks and Larnell Lewis.

I left Denver around the same time they did to drive to Kansas City on the drugs tour but to Illinois In the exact same blizzard and it was in fact super shitty haha
