Pilots spooled up the engines on a Boeing 767 for the take off roll, and it's very common to see some people standing just behind the fence to get a thrill out of being blasted by the aircraft's exhaust. :-)

So I counted a total of 16 planes 11 were American (US Airways-RIP, American, JetBlue, United, Delta) 2 were French (Air Caraibes, Air France) 1 was Panamanian (Copa) 1 was from the Dutch Antillies (Insel Air-RIP from Curacao) 1 was unidentified - possibly a cargo jet One day (when the world is normal again) I shall visit Sint Maarten, and make my way to Maho Beach! With so many American flights going down there, especially from JFK and Newark in the NYC area, it shouldn't be a problem!
