Yes, you understand how dangerous this vehicle is. It’s perfect for criminals to use. Tesla will truly suffer as crimes are committed using this truck over the years. It is a dystopian vehicle and causing our future to be full of fear. It was a huge mistake, people don’t understand the unintended consequences of creating such a ‘cool, ugly’ truck

*_I work at a graphics design and IT IS ALSO EXPENSIVE dude,_* you need like 4 Macs 🖥 to get a decent render with enough polygons, if u want it to be in less than 10 hours
A triangle is the strongest shape, for strength this good shape for pickup truck, going off road etc.

Actually the cybertrucks glass is unbreakable they just had some difficulties so after the event they take it and fix it
No they had been testing it before and made a bunch of micro fractures which damaged the glass so when they did it on stage it was a lot more brittle and shatterable

It's cold rolled stainless steel (like on the starship), extremely strong, but you can't bend (or dent) it like normal car body's. That's why it's so square.

The thing is when he was dropping the steel ball on the "transparent metal window panel", it did not and would not shatter. I believe he was screwed by his own people when they put glass in this thing. He fully expected for the installed window panels to act like the ones used for the demonstration, did you see his face? Some heads are going to roll!
Think about it, transparent metals are generally several times stronger than steel. This would not have happened if the correct material was used.
When people from 100 years ago drew photos of what things would like like in the future... this is what they would draw

I watched the unveiling live and like most people I was shocked and then couldn’t reserve my tri motor fast enough. Each and every day since I’ve loved it more and more and more. I now can’t wait.
I think side windows are supposed to break. imagine emergency services trying to save someone and they can't shatter the glass.

Someone mentioned it's only the windshield that's supposed to be bulletproof. The side windows should break for emergency access.
It still breaks as you saw, it just doesnt shatter. Take front windshields for example, what happened in the video is what happens with normal cars front windshield, it's made like that so you are able to kick off the full glass piece to have a safe way to exit the vehicle incase you cant open the doors. Just like school buses front windshields, they're made to not shatter and to pop off when you kick them out

I honestly love the cyber truck. Though the roadster holds a place in my heart due to the 0-60 mph in 1.9 seconds (the fastest 0-60 is 2.4 secs) I truly love the cyber truck. Great specs and would be very useful. But they still need to work out the kinks, the glass broke because when they hit the door the base of the glass broke which weakened it, hope they fix that. Overall, another great product from Tesla

People are failing to understand how bulletproof glass works. The glass doesn't stop the bullet the bulletproof polycarbonate panel laminated to the glass is what stops it.
Clearly Elon didn't expect it to break with just the steel ball but in the end the stiffness of the glass has nothing to do with whether or not a bullet is stopped.
