Klaire, I don't know exactly when I subscribed to your channel - it's been a few years. I always love watching your content and I loved your make-up videos and DIYs. I'd be more than happy to donate 100€ for your orange tree and I'm pretty sure some other subscribers would also love to donate.
I'm just realizing a big through line in Queen Charlotte is her greenhouse of orange trees, which I suppose wouldn't have been possible at the time. Oh well - at least the show only has the one historical inaccuracy ;)
Have you been to Kew Gardens? They have an Orangery. Ok, true, it's Kew Gardens, but it's not completely impossible! Good luck with the graft. I live in the Morbihan, France, and you've given me a great idea to plant a lemon tree against a sunny southern brick wall and graft a couple Kuzu branches! Ta for that!
So you take a branch from the original tree (this tree mutated to have extra cold resistance) and you graft (attach) it to a tree in the same citrus family so it can grow.
Shall you set up a Cara Cara Orange Tree Fund we can donate to?

Wishing you the best of luck with the grafting process!
I misread that as “Growing organs in the UK” and I thought ‘wow…Klaire’s skill set is really expanding all the time” 😅🤔
If I can figure out how to grow teeth, I'll make a fortune!
It takes a lot longer than just six months. More off six years before you get fruit
Not if it's grafted because the branch is the same age as the original tree.

I'm going soon! :D
Wait how are you gonna mutate a tree? I am learning so much about gardening from your channel 🥰

@@KlairedeLysOfficial that sounds genius!
How you getting on with this Klaire? Any update?
