    It took me close to a year to master my wash and go, which would end up being destroyed in the drying process, but I never gave up. Eventually what I found that works for me is air drying for 1 hour to allow the curls to set. Then one hour under the hooded dryer. Then diffuse on low heat to finish off the roots. No more busted wash and gos for me with this drying method. Maybe some of your viewers that asked about drying can try that.

      Tracie Perry, I dry my wash and gos sitting in front of a regular fan. Works like a charm and my hair dries within an hour.

    • @patrecem.9523

      Tracie Perry I use cool hair for the first 15-20 mins or so to set the curl then turn up the heat. Adwoa recommends to use cool air the entire time but I got to much hair for that. That’s what helped me stop destroying mine during the drying process.

    Miss Kim thank you for doing the series. I followed your steps and could not believe the results.
    Super super defined curls on my 4C self. I now have the confidence to join team wash n go after all.
    My killer combo was Eco Olive, Alikay Lemongrass Style Gel (the real MVP), and TGIN mousse.
    Wow, wow, wow!! Thank you again!!

    I still can’t get the pineapple to work on my 4C hair. But I have started shampooing and deep conditioning weekly to moisture train.

    • @Rubyred-rb2fe
      @Rubyred-rb2fe 4 роки тому +7

      Try two pineapples versus one since our 4c hair is usually drier and may have less movement. I finger part my hair down the middle and use scrunchies...it works!

    Love the video!!! I would love to see more makeup tutorials from you!! Thank you for sharing your wash n go tips from the series that recently posted. I tried putting my leave in conditioner ( Shea moisture Jamaican black castle oil leave in) in the shower... Girrrrrrl!!! My hair was super soft and moisturized!!! That is a game changer!! I will forever put my leave in the shower. My wash n go came out great too. I preserved my hair with the pineapple method with the scarf. The next day I shook my hair out ( like a Polaroid picture🤣🤣) my hair still looked great!!! Thank you freeeen for sharing those ABSOLUTELY AMAZING TIP!!!!😊😊😊You sure do know what your talking about.

    A can works good for me. I have type 4 low porosity hair. I don’t intentionally do it but I notice when I’m under my ceiling fan after styling for awhile my hair air dries so much better and way less frizz. However, I bought a hooded dryer a couple months ago but I’ll open that thang up when I move in a couple weeks🥰

It is dry, tangles super easy and is prone to breakage. Idk if it's better to comb during conditiong or not. Wash n goes look better w/o combing and my hair comes out less. But if I don't the knots are really bad. Thoughts?
