Also agree about the Tessa Blanchard situation. Allegedly she was being racist and/or a bully. Of course the racist thing don't making any sense since she's not only friends with black people, but even dated one in Ricochet. The bullying thing I actually find more serious, but as you said, no one actually came out and gave their side of the story. So it's sus as hell. Fragile Phil however we have hard physical proof he's the piece of crap everyone says he is from the video of him outright sucker punching Jack Perry, to Ryback constantly going over Phil's claims about him, not only giving his side of the story, but even providing video evidence his story is real and Phil is a liar. For example Ryback clarified when Phil claimed Ryback dropped him on concrete and showed video as gave a reasonable response for those claims. Yet people just as you said act like arrogant POS like Phil himself about ever taking accountability and putting scrutiny on their fave people in wrestling. Man no wonder I hate wrestling fans.
Only found him interesting during the Jeff Hardy feud back then. 30:58 Even during his debut in ECW, the Quarter Hour segment lost 110,000 viewers. If "Oversimplification" was to defined a career of someone being called "popular, so he has to be a big attraction". CM Punk during his time as ECW champion drew a 1.25 average and SmackDown with him as champion drew a 1.7 average in 2009. Which made him the lowest rated champion in history on both brands. Every time he was champion the ratings and viewership went down, but whenever someone else was champion, the ratings went up. Punk was only did good when it came to merch sales. The fact he was WWE Champion for nearly 2 years while the product was declining rapidly and was eventually put in the midcard with Daniel Bryan by 2012 says a lot.
@@TWBootyhunter Even funnier to this day that Punk fans blame the Rock for "ruining" his chance to main event at WM against Cena. When they were bringing back part timers like Lesnar to boost ratings again, which Punk failed at to do. Looking back, it's now questionable if Punk was even Top 2 in his own era. I agree too, CM Punk was a midcarder at best.
Before CM Punk and Cena, the decline of RAW slowly started with Triple H's reign of terror where if you were to compare the World Heavyweight and WWE title chants for both RAW and Smackdown between 02-05, Smackdown had a lot of championship changes, while RAW being World Champion most of the 2-3 years of being there. When Cena tookover and started emerging with the super Cena superhero gimmick and started burying talent, people started to hate on WWE more until CM Punk came in and made it extremely worse by opening the gate to all these indy jobbers and these out of shape failed wrestlers to be in the WWE roster and pushed to the main event.
#6: Funny thing is, during the time Fragile Phil was retired from wrestling, he outright admitted he's an @$$hole to his own fans. Though of course Fragile Phil being Fragile Phil tries to paint it like he's the victim when literally the worse he said about his fans was that they called him Phil (oh no, his fans acknowledge he's an actual person and not a cartoon character, how evil of them) and that they are taking his time or some BS like that. Oh no, fans want to take a picture with you Phil, how selfish of them. And the guy just sounded like his typical, whiny crybaby entitled self while whining about his fans. Though considering how dumb most of Fragile Phil's fans tend to be, they'll probably think it's an honour if Phil spat at them and called them a swear word for daring to take up Phil's time.
Liked him when I was a teenager, the appeal being obvious, but pretty quickly got bored of him because he didn't do anything special. Hated when he came back to WWE (especially since they fed Drew to him) because now I run the risk of seeing him on my screen and I'll have no part of it. Edit: The pipebomb is easily ine of the most overrated promos to ever assault my ear canals. That was actually the turning point for me, because everything he was saying just sounded like something I could hear up and down the halls at school.
-> "CM Punk's career is a mixed bag of highs and lows. While he has a dedicated fanbase, it's hard to ignore the controversies and shortcomings that have marred his legacy. His in-ring skills, often compared to legends like Chris Benoit, seem to falter without strong opponents to carry the match. The comparison to Tessa Blanchard's blacklisting for a racial slur highlights a double standard in the wrestling community. ○ Punk's fallout with Colt Cabana and the subsequent lawsuit left a sour taste, showing a lack of loyalty and integrity. ○ His constant jabs at Roman Reigns for being the company's chosen one come off as petty and insecure. ○ The allegations of manipulating women while posing as a feminist are deeply troubling and tarnish his public persona. ○ Physical and verbal assaults on coworkers paint a picture of a volatile and unprofessional individual. ○ His alleged support for terrorist organizations is a serious accusation that can't be overlooked. When it comes to wrestling ability, Punk is often overrated. Wrestlers like Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, and Kurt Angle have consistently outperformed him in the ring. His feud with Jeff Hardy was a rare highlight in an otherwise lackluster career. His debut in ECW was a disaster, losing significant viewership, and his championship reigns on SmackDown and ECW were marked by declining ratings. Punk's inability to draw ratings led WWE to rely on part-timers like The Rock and Brock Lesnar, further diminishing his standing. By 2012, he was relegated to the midcard, a clear indication of his declining relevance. Fans blaming The Rock for Punk not main eventing WrestleMania 29 ignore the reality that Punk couldn't deliver the ratings WWE needed. In conclusion, while CM Punk had moments of brilliance, his career is overshadowed by controversies, declining ratings, and an inability to live up to the hype. His legacy is a cautionary tale of how talent alone isn't enough to sustain a career in professional wrestling."
Ratings even went down after the pipebomb which smarks insist reinvigorated WWE fans and brought back interest in the product. Fans claiming he should’ve gotten a bigger push and he was treated unfairly, I think he was treated better than HHH and the rock was. Punk got to start out as the straight edge gimmick, HHH had to start his career doing a French accent yet still made something of himself.
@@TWBootyhunter The guy was a whiny crybaby and claims he was "mistreated" simply because he didn't get to headline/main event Wrestlemania as champion. Like WTF dude? Funny thing is Fragile Phil actually got to go to Wrestlemania 28 as world champion and WON, however he was still bitching and moaning because he wasn't seen as the "main event/headline" since that honours went to Dwayne Johnson vs John Cena since obviously it would have. So basically Fragile Phil's bitching and moaning about "mistreatment" was because "Wrestlemania wasn't all about ME!"
Regarding the Cora Jade and Roxanne thing, I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest. Considering Fragile Phil clearly has no shame or self reflection, I wouldn't doubt for a second he's having an affair with girls he finds hot regardless if he's married or that he's old enough to be their father. If anything, AJ being busy with Women of Wrestling is a blessing for Phil. It's also worth noting, Phil in a interview being the total narcissist that he is say the CM in his name stands for chick magnet. Yeah lets leave it there how Phil imagines himself.
Oh yeah for sure something's going to come out on that guy soon and I bet you these marks aren't going to keep that same energy that they did with Vinnie Mac
@@TWBootyhunter Oh for sure the dumbass fans are going to defend Fragile Phil if a sex scandal comes out about him. I call Jerry Lawler a pedo pervert since he was arrested for raping a teen girl in the 90s and even his current girlfriend last I checked was in her 20s and yeah, I wouldn't doubt if the two of them met when she was a minor. If Fragile Phil does turn out to be having an affair with Cora or Roxanne, I'm giving him the Jerry Lawler treatment since as you said, Phil knew them back when they were little kids. Though now I'm imagining the headlines saying "CM Punk caught in sex scandal with young NXT girls" followed by "CM Punk also out on injury, *insert AJ, Cora or Roxanne's name* swears they didn't hit him that hard".
It's crazy because even then I didn't really think Cena was killing wrestling and I never understood why people said that in a sense but yeah that's just what it is it really goes to show how wrong a lot of people were because even when Cena was still on top wrestling was still at its best in terms of getting and retaining viewership that sure as hell isn't the case now especially not with Cody Rhodes as your champion
No way it's anywhere near perfect match when you see CM Punk is kicking out from 2 GTS,1 stomp,1 buckle bomb,2 pedigree and countering Superflex into a sudden 2 GTS to Rollins and Rollins doesn't have enough stamina yo kick out. Total BS for anyone who watched resiliency of Seth Freaking Rollins over the years😂. Now don't say Rollins has injuries that's why he didn't last,he has injuries in his left leg not at his face where the GTA connects
Fragile Phil is living up to Ryback's nickname that the only way HHH can make Fragile Phil look strong is to apparently now turn Phil into the Fiend 2.0 LOL.
CM Punk is like Chris Benoit in the ring; he needed to be carried by better performers otherwise they’d be exposed as shitty wrestlers Also, I find it funny how Tessa Blanchard is blacklisted from wrestling by the IWC over her saying a racial slur but CM Punk can get away with - left his best friend high and dry after a messy lawsuit and threw his mom under the bus -took multiple shots at Roman Reigns - manipulated multiple women while calling himself a feminist (the interview where he took advantage of a female wrestler and called women in the industry rats) - assaulted his coworkers on multiple occasions, verbal and physical - openly supported multiple terrorist organisations He’s a bigger scumbag than Hogan and is just on the level of HBK if you ask me.
I never got this guy in WWE. I don't like the Young Bucks and Tony Choke ruining their own company, but just because he exposed a bunch of clowns doesn't mean he isn't one himself. Drew McIntyre should have won that feud last year. How ironic, if speaking like Punk is the standard, Paul Heyman should be doing in ring work as a pro wrestlers.
This one may come off as me nitpicking… and I may come off as overreacting… So you can take this with a grain of salt if you please… And I don’t mean “ruin the mood with religion”.. but I am a man of God personally, I believe in God and I pray regularly… and when CM punk says stuff on the mic like “losers pray” without considering who’s watching and even if they’re a fan of him, they could very easily not be a fan anymore… it’s like if CM punk doesn’t believe in God or whatever that’s on him… But for him to just outright say “losers pray”… that’s a bit too far. Because praying does not make you a loser at all… I’m not trying to force religion or faith on anybody… But I personally believe in God and ever since I started praying more God has led me towards better paths and self improvement as well has helped me find purpose in things like fitness… and my screenwriting and graphic design career goals… Turning to God can completely turn someone’s life around and completely transform their life (he saved me from a pretty dark place though I still need some more. I’m not where I was by the grace of God.)… And knowing CM punk it likely was not scripted… Because we all know he always goes off the script with his promos so when we hear him say things like “losers pray” I get he’s playing a role, but I doubt that’s the line they told him to say… or I could be totally wrong… Maybe they did tell him to say that and who knows Cm punk could very well be a man of faith behind closed doors and for that I praise him if he is… but again, who knows… bro does not think before he speaks and he thinks that his way of going about things is the only way and he implies that if you don’t go his way about it you’re automatically a “loser” he thinks that his strategy and point of view and his way of going about anything is the only precise way. Bro is just next level, arrogant and borderline narcissistic.
No you definitely write on that man I feel you but it makes too much sense that punk wouldn't be exactly a man of God especially considering how much of a spectacular douche he is
@@TWBootyhunter I'm actually shocked that this guy is still in his 40s because he wrestles and gets injured like he's in his 60s. When you have literally just one match and end up hospitalized and injured for half a year 3 times in a row, it's like damn. If he is indeed cheating on AJ Mendez, he better hope she or either Cora or Roxanne don't decide to beat him up when it gets messy, because either 3 of them can likely put Phil in a coma considering how fragile he is these days.
@@TWBootyhunter CM Sucks: first wrestler to break his foot trying to do a buckshot lariat. CM Sucks: first wrestler to bust his arm taking a double arm DDT. Now I heard Fragile Phil is out injured AGAIN after the Raw Netflix match. It's like damn dude, the entire match was just him taking moves and give 2 GTS's and he couldn't even do that without getting injured. Though to be fair, I'm surprised Fragile Phil even lasted this long without another trip to the hospital. Phil spends more time in a emergency room than he does in the wrestling ring since his big wrestling return. I'm sure there are 90 lb girls who have taken these wrestling moves (probably by Drew and Seth themselves during their time in the indies) and walk out completely fine. Hogan on his last WWE years and current Randy Orton weren't this injury prone despite Hogan's history of back problems and Orton's 60 shoulder injuries and having never taken a break from wrestling since he started around 25 years ago. Heck even Roman Reigns the 3 time lukemia/cancer patient isn't this injury prone. What's Fragile Phil's excuse?
@@TWBootyhunter Wanted to comment on HHH, but HHH bringing in CM Sucks is simply doing what Tony Khan does and getting any names who can make noise over the IWC because he lacks any actual skills. Also HHH must really be desperate to get Fragile Phil over by pairing him with Seth Rollins despite Seth was one of the wrestlers who openly hated CM Punk and said on video that he's a cancer to every company he goes to and to stay away from WWE. Hilarious that the biggest crowd chant on Netflix Raw's debut was Malcauly Caulkin.
@TWBootyhunter Seth Rollins is one of the greatest performers to ever step foot in a wrestling ring. The matches, the promos, main event wrestlemania moments, championships and memorable rivalries. Punk doesn't hold an candle to Seth Rollins overal.
Alright, here's my another take on the video: -> Watching this video, I can't help but feel that CM Punk's straight-edge lifestyle is one of the few commendable aspects of his persona. His unwavering commitment to abstaining from substances like alcohol, tobacco, and drugs is admirable. He stands firm in his beliefs, unapologetically declaring, "No, I don't smoke or drink, and I don't care who thinks that’s uncool." This level of conviction is rare and deserves respect. However, beyond this, I struggle to find much to appreciate about him. -> The departure of Kurt Angle from WWE before CM Punk's arrival is a significant "what if" scenario. Angle, with his wealth of experience and technical prowess, could have been an invaluable mentor to Punk. Despite my reservations about Punk, it's undeniable that Angle's guidance could have shaped Punk's career differently. Angle's influence might have helped Punk refine his in-ring skills and perhaps even his attitude. Together, they could have elevated ECW to new heights, making it a more compelling show for Vince McMahon and the fans. -> On the topic of religion, CM Punk's comment that "losers pray" is not just offensive; it's irresponsible. As someone who believes in God and finds strength in prayer, I find his remark deeply troubling. Prayer is a source of solace and guidance for many, including myself. It has helped me navigate challenges and find purpose in various aspects of my life. Punk's dismissive attitude towards prayer alienates a portion of his audience who hold different beliefs. While he has the right to his own views, labeling prayer as something only "losers" do is unacceptable and shows a lack of consideration for others. -> Lastly, the rumors about Punk's reluctance to prioritize fitness during his WWE and AEW title reigns are concerning. Being a champion in any sport requires dedication to physical conditioning. It's not just about looking the part; it's about embodying the discipline and commitment that come with being at the top. Complaining about being told to stay in shape is absurd. If Punk wants to be a champion, he needs to understand that fitness is non-negotiable. Representing major brands like WWE and AEW means presenting oneself as a true athlete. If he can't accept that, perhaps he should reconsider his place in these companies. In conclusion, while CM Punk's straight-edge lifestyle is commendable, his attitude and actions in other areas leave much to be desired. His career could have been different with the right mentorship, and his comments on religion and fitness reflect a lack of humility and consideration. If he wants to be a true champion, he needs to embrace the responsibilities that come with it.
Another thing I’ve actually heard (though I can’t confirm nor deny if it’s true I just heard about it)… during both his WWE and AEW title reign… H whenever Vince,Triple H, or Nick would tell him he needs to get in the gym and work out so he could stay in shape… he would always complain and whine about them telling him to get the gym and work out.. which is insanity… It’s like bro… If you wanna be WWE or AW champion and hold the top price and the company… You need to represent what that means… You need to be in that gym and getting fit! You don’t have to be ripped like Brock Lesnar or on breaker or Jinder Mahal… but dude… you got it at the very least be in the gym working out if you wanna be champion… You need to represent what that means… Also not only that but the thing about getting in the gym and working out… that’s not just part of being champion… that’s simply part of sports! No matter what sport you’re in rather it’s wrestling, MMA, basketball, football, track or whatever… working out is part of it… rather you’re a professional athlete, college athlete, high school, athlete, or even middle school athlete part of being in any sport as you get the gym and work out… Even volleyball players, dancers, and cheerleaders have to hit the gym… If CM punk wants to whine and complain because they’re telling them to get in the gym and work out… He doesn’t belong in this company
Big facts because after all both those companies are on television so it makes perfect sense that you kind of want to look your best being on that kind of a platform being exposed to as many people as you are otherwise he might as well just stay in the Indies
It’s embarrassing when Edge and Christian are older than Punk yet they look better in the ring and don’t get injured as much cuz they’re true professionals unlike Punk
I have never liked CM Punk, not just as a wrestler but as a person. And yet, every one of his fanboys makes excuses for him. A failure in every metric when it comes to his wrestling career.
That's the same with me man honestly to me he's like the Eminem of professional wrestling or he could just get away with everything and not have to take any accountability for anything
Diehard Punk fan yeah he’s a great storyteller but he’s never been a great in ring performer. I also agree he tends to rub people the wrong way because of his old school approach to things.
I'm a fan of him but not really a huge huge crazy fan of him. Liked him back in the 2000s but during his title reign, imo he was more boring there and then forgettable. AEW run tho? Just bizarre and the comeback is cool but yeah that's just me, still a awesome video man!
CRITIQUE OF CM PUNK'S WRESTLING CAREER Alright, here’s my take on the video: Watching this video, I can't help but feel that CM Punk's career has been a rollercoaster of highs and lows. While he was undeniably one of the best wrestlers in the world during his peak years from 2011 to 2014, his recent performances from 2021 to 2024 have left much to be desired. It's not just about his age or attitude; it's also about the fanbase that continues to glorify him despite his shortcomings. CM Punk's return to wrestling has been met with mixed reactions. On one hand, there's a sense of nostalgia and excitement among his fans. On the other hand, there's a growing frustration with his inability to adapt and evolve. His matches often lack the intensity and innovation that once made him a standout performer. It's as if he's stuck in the past, relying on his old tricks rather than pushing the boundaries of what he can do in the ring. Comparing Punk to other wrestlers of his generation, it's clear that he falls short. Adam Copeland (Edge) and Christian Cage, both older than Punk, continue to deliver stellar performances and maintain their physical health. This contrast highlights Punk's inability to keep up with the demands of modern wrestling. It's embarrassing to see him struggle while his peers thrive. Moreover, Punk's attitude and behavior have been a constant source of controversy. He often comes across as arrogant and dismissive, alienating both fans and fellow wrestlers. This has only added to the perception that he's overrated and undeserving of the praise he receives. His fanbase, while loyal, seems to be blind to his flaws, making excuses for his poor performances and questionable decisions. In my view, there are numerous wrestlers who are far superior to Punk. Drew McIntyre, Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, Ilja Dragunov, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Shinsuke Nakamura, LA Knight, Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, Hulk Hogan, and Stone Cold Steve Austin all bring something unique and valuable to the table. They have consistently proven their worth in the ring, unlike Punk, who has become a shadow of his former self. One of the most glaring examples of Punk's decline is his feud with Jon Moxley. Moxley, with his unhinged psychopath character, brought a level of intensity and authenticity that Punk simply couldn't match. Despite Moxley's compelling portrayal of a man forged by hardship, the 'Marks' still clamored for Punk to come out on top. This misplaced loyalty only serves to highlight the disconnect between Punk's fanbase and the reality of his current abilities. Lastly, Punk's tenure as WWE Champion has been underwhelming, to say the least. His reign has been marred by lackluster matches and uninspired storylines. It's hard to see how he can turn things around at this point. The Netflix deal might be the final nail in the coffin for Monday Night RAW, with Triple H bearing the brunt of the blame. Punk's presence in the locker room has the potential to cause more harm than good, and it's only a matter of time before his influence starts to negatively impact the careers of promising talents like Bron Breakker and Tiffany Stratton. In conclusion, CM Punk's return to wrestling has been a disappointment. His inability to adapt, coupled with his arrogant attitude and declining performance, has tarnished his legacy. It's time for fans to recognize the true talents in wrestling and stop propping up those who simply play the part of a star. Punk's days as a top-tier wrestler are behind him, and it's time for him to step aside and make way for the next generation of superstars.
I'm no Punk fan, but the guy is fantastic on the mic. However, THE BELL HAS TO RING!! And unfortunately, CM Punk in 2024 has TWO asterisks next to everything that he does / is booked to do: 1. He is Old (47) 2. He is washed.
My honest opinion about cmpunk he sucks as a midcarder and he sucks as a main eventer i just can't wait until he retires i dont like this guy who told cmlames he could be a professional wrestling who told this guy he can wrestle i want to know that tf
Kurt Angle left shortly before punk came in… As much as I don’t like sea punk and though I still don’t think he would’ve been much better, I do believe if Kurt angle had stuck around and not left literally right before he came in… I do believe Kurt could’ve given him some training and coaching, and that CM Punk definitely could’ve learned a lot from Kurt Angle… I still think C punk would’ve been very very problematic. I still wouldn’t of liked the guy… I still don’t think a lot of people in the locker room would’ve liked him… but I do think his ending work could’ve been better if he could’ve learned from Kurt Angle earlier on in his career. Kurt Angle is my favorite of all time by the way
Hey I don't blame you Kurt is definitely my favorite of all time too and I believe he definitely would have given CM Punk easily his best match had he stayed in WWE a lot longer if anything I think both of them could have been the two guys to make ECW kind of a much more palatable show in Vince's eyes
I m CM Punk fan and respect him but he have worst whiny crybaby like Cody Rhodes ehhh ,And I like HBK,Randy Orton,Kurt Angle ,Seth Rollins,Late Eddie Guerrero more
He is the reason smarks took over he gave them a voice I stopped being a fan cus I’m burnt out first I was behind him his first run to get a push then the times he kept Getting buried then the pipebomb then when he quit the first time and join ufc got beat twice then I was at my last then the aew 💩 I finally saw the damn truth
Exactly man sometimes it takes a different points for people to see the truth about someone man for me I always thought with punk from the beginning because before I didn't really care about him now I simply just don't care for him at all
Appreciate it man yeah I was looking at that situation and I never paid attention to her before but hearing about that situation and then what happened when WWE as well as wrestling fans let CM Punk back with open arms I couldn't help but point out the absolute stupid hypocrisy of it all
Same and like TWBH said there's no actual proof like that is with Hulk Hogan saying the N word, plus only two people besides La Rosa Negra "confirm" that Tessa Blanchard said it but one of those people is Chelsea Green who is not an honest person. Reminder/FYI someone made artwork of Chelsea Green that she posted on Twitter and then after the person who did the artwork asked her to tag them Chelsea Green blocked that person on Twitter. Also something a lot of people (including myself) forget about is that the whole Tessa Blanchard drama started because Tessa Blanchard said we should all be nicer to people. She was trying to spread positivity and was met with toxicity.
@sonicthehedgehog7144 I think he really tries to do that to throw people off of the fact that he's clearly just using them as side pieces in the both of them being CM Punk fangirls unfortunately are very much happy being side pieces to that meth head
CM Punk was undoubtedly one of if not the best wrestler in the entire world between 2011 and 2014 but between 2021 and 2024 he's one of the worse. Not just because his age or because his attitude but also because of the fanbase. Remember how happy we all were when Shane McMahon and Goldberg returned 8 years ago? Or Brock Lesnar in 2012, or The Rock in 2011? Remember how quickly that happiness became anger the more they appeared, especially when booked in the main event scene? This is going to happen to CM Punk before the end of the decade if he doesn't retire first unless he starts putting over younger talent like John Cena has been doing.
@MrRaphaelRobinson that's cool man already deleted that comment it's just more tribalism BS man that's what these idiots will always bring up anytime somebody criticizes WWE is that you automatically are an AEW fan😆😆 smh
In regards to the Tessa situation, La Rosa Negra did actually corroborate the story that Allysin Kay tweeted about. She thanked her for talking about it and even said it happened in Japan in 2017 if Tessa couldn't bother to remember it. I have link to the actual story from back then if you care to read it.
No that won't be necessary I actually didn't know that before making this video but even still I find a whole situation to be completely hypocritical when it comes to her and CM Punk
I don’t like much about the guy at all… However, there is one thing that I can think of right now… The only thing I like about Punk is he’s straight edge… bro confidently speaks on how he doesn’t smoke, drink, vape, chew, or anything of those things… and he does so without any shame or embarrassment. He doesn’t feel the need to smoke or drink to fit in and he doesn’t need to be drunk to have a good time… he understands the concept of “no I don’t smoke or drink and I don’t care who thinks that’s not cool”… and I respect that don’t get me wrong. There’s a lot of people that are straight edge… But I like how confidently he’s able to express his desire to avoid partaking in smoking or drinking… and how he has no desire to do it just to impress people… Other than that, I don’t like much about the guy at all
Even though I like punk, he come off as a jerk. I personally have a few people who are way better. Examples: Drew, Rey, Orton, Lashley, Shinsuke, LA Knight, Ilja, Stone Cold and the list goes on. The main point is, he attracts to much marks and its mostly his fanbase that glorify him where as I find him abhorent at times.
@TWBootyhunter I'm glad you agree, like when he buried MOX title reign. It was the worst because when Jon was on the indies, he had this unhinged physchpath type of character that was based on his traumatic childhood, which is the reason he is so violent. The problem is the fact that the marks wanted Punk to win over a guy who was literally one of the toughest to beat in the past. The dude was born on the poor side of OHiO. People who live in poor areas have nothing to lose.
I was never actually happy with the original video I made now that I went and looked at it the music was way too loud in that times it kind of overshadowed my voice
Cm Punk is a whiny crybaby
Ehhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!
😆😆
TWRP was right about Punk he has become a whiny crybaby and a hypocrite
I don't blame you
CM punk got beat up by a journalist in his last UFC 😂
Yeah the guy's a joke man for sure
Oh yeah man they're the worst they pick and choose what they want to be mad at and who they want to hold accountable
Yeah exactly and what it really says is that he's ALWAYS been a ratings killer 😆😆
😆😆 Facts bro
He was for sure better treated than both those guys his problem is that he's just incredibly ungrateful
CM Punk is overrated. Guys like Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle were better wrestlers than him.
Dude that goes without saying. He doesn't hold a candle to those gentlemen.
💯🔥💯 Kurt angle and Hbk better than daniel bryan/cm punk overrated as hells. Cm punk in ufc runs trash
In 2010s we all thought Cena was killing wrestling but we had the real murderer right in our face
Been overrated since ECW. People have broken down his entire run.
CM Punk: The man that killed wrestling (because Pipebomb)!
Unfortunately that is a true statement
CM Punk is like Chris Benoit in the ring; he needed to be carried by better performers otherwise they’d be exposed as shitty wrestlers
Also, I find it funny how Tessa Blanchard is blacklisted from wrestling by the IWC over her saying a racial slur but CM Punk can get away with
- left his best friend high and dry after a messy lawsuit and threw his mom under the bus
-took multiple shots at Roman Reigns
- manipulated multiple women while calling himself a feminist (the interview where he took advantage of a female wrestler and called women in the industry rats)
- assaulted his coworkers on multiple occasions, verbal and physical
- openly supported multiple terrorist organisations
He’s a bigger scumbag than Hogan and is just on the level of HBK if you ask me.
@MilosPavlovic-i1m oh yeah I'm fully aware of that
“It’s alll abooouy meeeeeeeeee ehhhhhh”
I never got this guy in WWE. I don't like the Young Bucks and Tony Choke ruining their own company, but just because he exposed a bunch of clowns doesn't mean he isn't one himself. Drew McIntyre should have won that feud last year. How ironic, if speaking like Punk is the standard, Paul Heyman should be doing in ring work as a pro wrestlers.
Exactly that whole feud with him and McIntyre was a complete waste of time because Drew needed that one more than anything
This one may come off as me nitpicking… and I may come off as overreacting… So you can take this with a grain of salt if you please…
And I don’t mean “ruin the mood with religion”.. but I am a man of God personally, I believe in God and I pray regularly… and when CM punk says stuff on the mic like “losers pray” without considering who’s watching and even if they’re a fan of him, they could very easily not be a fan anymore… it’s like if CM punk doesn’t believe in God or whatever that’s on him… But for him to just outright say “losers pray”… that’s a bit too far. I’m not where I was by the grace of God.)…
And knowing CM punk it likely was not scripted… Because we all know he always goes off the script with his promos so when we hear him say things like “losers pray” I get he’s playing a role, but I doubt that’s the line they told him to say… or I could be totally wrong…
Maybe they did tell him to say that and who knows Cm punk could very well be a man of faith behind closed doors and for that I praise him if he is… but again, who knows… bro does not think before he speaks and he thinks that his way of going about things is the only way and he implies that if you don’t go his way about it you’re automatically a “loser” he thinks that his strategy and point of view and his way of going about anything is the only precise way. Bro is just next level, arrogant and borderline narcissistic.
No you definitely write on that man I feel you but it makes too much sense that punk wouldn't be exactly a man of God especially considering how much of a spectacular douche he is
I would say a better comparison would be Soulja boy lbs.
Yeah honestly but even then I feel like even Soulja boy would be better than this goof
I really don't get how people still like him. He only wrestles at pay per views and WWE is too scared to release him. He's old enough to retire
You're right about everything you said and that's all it is Triple H is completely afraid of him
@@TWBootyhunter I'm actually shocked that this guy is still in his 40s because he wrestles and gets injured like he's in his 60s.
@entertainmentfan1463 lol on gawd if your that beat up just at the age of 40 yeah it's definitely time to stop
Punk is a dumpster fire of a wrestler in the ring.
Exactly even though I don't like Seth Rollins at least Seth Rollins sometimes does cool stuff in the ring was CM Punk I've never seen that be the case
@TWBootyhunter Seth can do it all. He can talk and he can wrestle. And he has the look and charisma.
@edgar22452 I don't really get the charisma part from them but in a sense yeah you're right at least he's got it all more than Punk
@TWBootyhunter Seth Rollins is one of the greatest performers to ever step foot in a wrestling ring. The matches, the promos, main event wrestlemania moments, championships and memorable rivalries. Punk doesn't hold an candle to Seth Rollins overal.
Alright, here's my another take on the video:
-> Watching this video, I can't help but feel that CM Punk's straight-edge lifestyle is one of the few commendable aspects of his persona.
Even Jesus drank wine 🤷♂️
Another thing I’ve actually heard (though I can’t confirm nor deny if it’s true I just heard about it)… during both his WWE and AEW title reign… H whenever Vince,Triple H, or Nick would tell him he needs to get in the gym and work out so he could stay in shape… he would always complain and whine about them telling him to get the gym and work out.. which is insanity…
It’s like bro… If you wanna be WWE or AW champion and hold the top price and the company… You need to represent what that means… You need to be in that gym and getting fit! You don’t have to be ripped like Brock Lesnar or on breaker or Jinder Mahal… but dude… you got it at the very least be in the gym working out if you wanna be champion… You need to represent what that means…
Also not only that but the thing about getting in the gym and working out… that’s not just part of being champion… that’s simply part of sports! No matter what sport you’re in rather it’s wrestling, MMA, basketball, football, track or whatever… working out is part of it… rather you’re a professional athlete, college athlete, high school, athlete, or even middle school athlete part of being in any sport as you get the gym and work out… Even volleyball players, dancers, and cheerleaders have to hit the gym…
If CM punk wants to whine and complain because they’re telling them to get in the gym and work out… He doesn’t belong in this company
Big facts because after all both those companies are on television so it makes perfect sense that you kind of want to look your best being on that kind of a platform being exposed to as many people as you are otherwise he might as well just stay in the Indies
Long time coming he is the definition of an overrated wrestler. i’ve never seen the hype that These marks saw .
Yeah especially now more than ever that's one of the reasons why I remade this video
He's the reason along with Daniel Bryan where in this mess now with unqualified unskilled indie talent that has his personality and gripes
@thesegafan4472 exactly one of the things that I can't stand about his ass now
Cm punk always sucked man always
It’s embarrassing when Edge and Christian are older than Punk yet they look better in the ring and don’t get injured as much cuz they’re true professionals unlike Punk
It truly is but that's because they've always been true superstars while Punk is always been a true indie work rate jobber
Let me ask you this question your a Christian fan or you don't like Christian
What does that mean when somebody is a jobber in wwe
I have never liked CM Punk, not just as a wrestler but as a person. And yet, every one of his fanboys makes excuses for him. A failure in every metric when it comes to his wrestling career.
That's the same with me man honestly to me he's like the Eminem of professional wrestling or he could just get away with everything and not have to take any accountability for anything
Nice video. Who are you gonna do in the future?
@cliff402ful I'm not too sure about that yet but it'll definitely be interesting I'll tell you that much
Diehard Punk fan yeah he’s a great storyteller but he’s never been a great in ring performer. I also agree he tends to rub people the wrong way because of his old school approach to things.
I respect the fact that you're a die-hard punk fan and you can still be objective something you don't see often with wrestling fans props to you 🍻💯
I'm a fan of him but not really a huge huge crazy fan of him. Liked him back in the 2000s but during his title reign, imo he was more boring there and then forgettable. AEW run tho? Just bizarre and the comeback is cool but yeah that's just me, still a awesome video man!
Appreciate that man most definitely
@TWBootyhunter damn dude u just a fuckin hater straight up all ur reasons were ass and why comment to every comment.

CRITIQUE OF CM PUNK'S WRESTLING CAREER
Alright, here’s my take on the video:
Watching this video, I can't help but feel that CM Punk's career has been a rollercoaster of highs and lows.
Cm punk is a prefect representation of these marks, ungrateful, egoistical, has a holier than thou altitude, and hypocritical.
Hey it's like they say birds of a feather flock together but in this case it's birds of a smarky feather flock together😆😆
I'm no Punk fan, but the guy is fantastic on the mic. However, THE BELL HAS TO RING!!
And unfortunately, CM Punk in 2024 has TWO asterisks next to everything that he does / is booked to do:
1. He is Old (47)
2. He is washed.
Not to mention injury prone.
Cmpunk he is not 47 he is 46
@@ryanjessen9181He's almost 50 and wrestles like he's 60.
On the mic the dude is impeccable. In the ring? Mediocre at best.
One of the Most Overhyped Midcarder
Exactly insanely overhyped matter of fact
My honest opinion about cmpunk he sucks as a midcarder and he sucks as a main eventer i just can't wait until he retires i dont like this guy who told cmlames he could be a professional wrestling who told this guy he can wrestle i want to know that tf
This video made my day I feel the same way about punk
Mr McMahon booked CM Punk better
Exactly despite the fact that CM Punk is maximally ungrateful to Vince
@TWBootyhunter True
Kurt Angle left shortly before punk came in… As much as I don’t like sea punk and though I still don’t think he would’ve been much better, I do believe if Kurt angle had stuck around and not left literally right before he came in… I do believe Kurt could’ve given him some training and coaching, and that CM Punk definitely could’ve learned a lot from Kurt Angle…
I still think C punk would’ve been very very problematic.
My honest opinion about Kurt angle as a wrestler in wwe Kurt he was great
I m CM Punk fan and respect him but he have worst whiny crybaby like Cody Rhodes ehhh ,And I like HBK,Randy Orton,Kurt Angle ,Seth Rollins,Late Eddie Guerrero more
Tell me about it I've never wanted to see Seth Rollins win so much of my life
He is the reason smarks took over he gave them a voice I stopped being a fan cus I’m burnt out first I was behind him his first run to get a push then the times he kept
Getting buried then the pipebomb then when he quit the first time and join ufc got beat twice then I was at my last then the aew 💩 I finally saw the damn truth
Exactly man sometimes it takes a different points for people to see the truth about someone man for me I always thought with punk from the beginning because before I didn't really care about him now I simply just don't care for him at all
You were on point with EVERYTHING you said about Tessa Blanchard!
Like I said, thanks to John Cena we call him CM Sucks.
one of the worst wwe champoins of all time and becasue of him wwe is where it is now and once raw go to netflix it is gonna end badly
It's going to end real badly and I'm not even going to lie I think this Netflix deal might wind up being the true end of Monday night Raw
Cody Rhodes is worst
@jeermhh I guess but honestly they both suck
@@TWBootyhunter big time and triple h is gonna be the soul reason for it also its cringe he calls cora and roxanne his daughters whne they are adults
This is going to happen to CM Punk before the end of the decade if he doesn't retire first unless he starts putting over younger talent like John Cena has been doing.
the fact that UFC is becoming more popular than Wwe shows that the company is done for because they can't show anything anymore it has no big stars.

I get it. Definitely some hypocrites in the fed.

@@TWBootyhunter ok nice
It is sad that despite being older, both undertaker and Kane look younger than cm punk
Exactly but that's because those two have always took care of themselves
I don’t like much about the guy at all… However, there is one thing that I can think of right now…
The only thing I like about Punk is he’s straight edge… bro confidently speaks on how he doesn’t smoke, drink, vape, chew, or anything of those things… and he does so without any shame or embarrassment. He doesn’t feel the need to smoke or drink to fit in and he doesn’t need to be drunk to have a good time… he understands the concept of “no I don’t smoke or drink and I don’t care who thinks that’s not cool”… and I respect that don’t get me wrong. There’s a lot of people that are straight edge… But I like how confidently he’s able to express his desire to avoid partaking in smoking or drinking… and how he has no desire to do it just to impress people…
Other than that, I don’t like much about the guy at all
So you reckon the rumours about CM Punk and Cora Jade true then ? 😃🤭
More than likely at this point when it comes to the disgusting Carney world professional wrestling I wouldn't be surprised
This is good video on cm punk iwc like cm punk but this guy is funny baby is not call out people on iwc is be is not okay is being a mark
Honestly that's pretty fair man honestly for me there are a lot of people who are better than Punk also
@TWBootyhunter I'm glad you agree, like when he buried MOX title reign.

Cm punk is overrated nowadays he just panders to the marks and he's a creep hanging around young women like Roxanne and cora jade.

The most overrated piece of garbage in wrestling history.
