I'm still using Photoshop CS5! Does everything I need it to, bollocks to paying greedy Adobe a subscription. The only issue I have using it on a modern 4K display, is that the outline of my pencil and brush cursors is not displayed correctly and the actual diameter of the brush is a lot larger (which I think is to do with the way I've had to get everything to fit on screen, otherwise the PS UI is too small to see). Have you ever had this issue Dave?

I have no issues with Cs5. But I don't have a huge monitor.

Layer some dithered versions of the pngs and use a lut with a limited dynamic range for maximum retro vibe and youre golden. Now pls do the flight scene from escape from new York

Thanks Dave. Love it! Love the simple planet curve solution with the bulge and the flipped layer

Thanks. Sometimes things are simpler than you would imagine to do. That's what I like about trying to recreate things like this.

WOW!!! Amazing!! Your talent knows no bounds. You make it look simple whereas I know that is not the case. How long did it take you to make that animation?

Thank you! Cheers! It was about an afternoons work to get this done.

I have to admit that it took me longer than it should have to realize your logo is the hang tab from retail packaging. For the first few months of watching your channel I thought it was a sombrero.

It's supposed to be a count down, not a count up. It's a count down to the beginning of you video.
    Great Video though

Who is the voice of the Toy Polloi intros?

His name is Jeff and he is a professional VO artist who you may well hear on some other pretty big name things. He very kindly does all of my VOs these days. Top chap.
