the brigands look down a trail and see wagons coming think its a cathay merchant haul.. then volks pimp cart shows and the canvas pulls back to say "Suprise,Suprise" as the guns roll out;3
Lots of admin this episode. And with an income like what you got the Empire is in a good position here. Thanks for putting my idea of Volkmar having a more mobile army with cavalry and War Wagons with a few other mobilr units, and Karl for soon having Demigryph Knights and Knightley Orders added to his army.
I don’t mean to backseat game but I have always found those fort battles against grom to most successful when u hold the walls, using your archers on the wall and just behind it to focus archers then trolls. Using your swordsmen to hold the walls with using selective fire from crossbows to help even the fight against those black orcs. Your halberds 4 or 5 if u can spare to create a kill box around the gate with one unit at the entrance and three slightly behind surrounding the opening. This gets units like from or the giant that plow through the first line to get caught by the second where your guns are either behind on the ramp or more safely, on the backside of the main wall with inf defending them. This keeps them safe from all trolls and wind magic. The motor is set up on the ramp hitting infranty formations of archer to either kill or keep moving them. Cav is used as last line. I am just saying this because I’ve had to fight that battle many times and the ai will often only send a few large units through the gate at once giving your towers more shots and using the advantage of the enemy climbing ladders lets your swordsmen hold out longer, not winning but letting your archers take care of theirs with tower and mortar support. I know this is a lot but I swear I’ve done this I. The same difficulty several times and it yield at the best results.
Are you playing through Steam? If you open the Steam overaly, there is a notes feature, so you can write up notes like what to build in what city and where. It is VERY useful for 4X, factory games and JRPGs.
You could defeat two full stacks with a couple of units in Attila and I loved it because it allowed the player to progress and not sit down and garrison, but it felt silly ngl 😂
I never seen one of those mysterious island battles not spawn a battle. Must be a new bug.

40:00 How Ironic that Ubersreik had the HUGE Skaven Undercity
You gain more schematics when you fight the Skaven.

Heir, could you move the Altdorf griphites to Kharl's army for thematic sake?
Video 6 of asking Heir for the Black Army (14:20 almost there!)

You are probably going to be better off replacing Volkmar with a Master Engineer. They get a Steam Tank mount and majorly buff gun units.
