Hello everyone, I have a lot of content on my channel and I know that you didn't check. Please make sure that you hit the bell button to be able to figure out when I posted a new video. Thanks 😊
It is so good seeing some positive videos about Norilsk instead of the constant negativity on other channels. Keep it up! Also Artyom is so cute! Beautiful family.
I'll give you a like man. You are doing something unique here... documenting everyday life in a closed city in the arctic circle. It's not something most channels do :)
Is Norilsk a closed city? I just thought it was hard to get to. Norilsk doesn't look so bad. I'd love to visit it. I live in Australia. It gets to 40'c here regularly. Some people in Russia may think that it's 'a dream life'... but once you live it, the novelty wears off. I want a change. My children want a white Christmas etc.
@@ВладимирПутин-е7м Yes it's a closed city :) You can only live there if you have a special visa, like Andrei said in one of his videos. So it's not possible to live there if you don't have a wife that has invited you to go there. I would imagine also since you are australian going from +40 C to a possible -40 C as it gets super cold in Norilsk during the winter might be too much for someone that isn't used to that life style. I can imagine +40 C must be hell on earth. Id rather take -40 C but i am also from Sweden, so we have a cold climate compared to Australia xD But yeah, ive never been to Russia, but i study russian and follow many russian youtubers, and i feel like it depends what kind of life you want to live. If you just want a cold climate there are many other countries that you can go to. Norway, Sweden, Finland and Canada for example have one of the highest standards of living in the world and they are all western countries that speaks english, so you wouldn't have to adapt as much... If you want to live in Russia, you need to learn russian and it is likely going to be harder for you to live there beacuse of bureaucracy and a different style of living. The standard of living is alot more simple and modest and the cities outside of Moscow and St Petersburg are usually kind of not well taken cared of and quite polluted. So it all depends on your preferences i would assume.
Allow me to thank you for your sincerity. It's so refreshing to see Norilsk from the perspective of a real local instead of severely biased bloggers who use the town as a tool to promote their political agenda. In your videos, it almost looks like a place that I'd like to visit myself.
You and your wife have done an amazing job at making your apartment elegant and homely. Despite the criticisms levied at the soviet era pre cast concrete blocks that you and others live in, your apartment seems a great size and well thought out.
Such a beautiful home and family! Watching this made me so happy:) You’re right, there’s so much negative content about Norilsk. Thank you for showing us as it really is. Norilsk looks so unique and not at all as portrayed by most. Love from India, do visit on of your vacations:)
People always told Norilsk is horrible and depressing, but thanks to you my friend I can see that it is quite nice place to live despite pollution and stuff. Keep up the good work bro, you can count on getting lots of likes from me and i will keep recommending your videos to my friends! Greetings from 🇫🇮
First time I am watching a positive video of this place. Definitely you deserve a like for being so positive while living here. Also good to see that you got a nice family there.
I want to say thank you for making this video! I live in Canada right now, but I've been looking for some videos of what it's really like to live in Norisk because there are so many negative videos about this city just being terrible and depressed. I was thinking, it can't be all terrible, so many people are there, so despite the pollution and harsh climate, there must be a warmth of community in Norilsk. Your apartment is wonderful, good job! I would love to visit Norilsk one day but i understand its difficult. To me, the idea of such a large city so far north and isolated, is amazing and wonderful to learn about.
I've noticed something important from not only watching videos like yours, but also from my own personal experiences. 90 % of the media we get in America (and probably everywhere else), pertaining to other countries, is bullshit. Places like Mexico, South America, Africa, Russia etc... if you believe everything on the news you might end up thinking everyone rides mules on dirt roads and eats dirt and tree leaves. No, people are living their lives there just like we are living our lives here, and in some ways they have it better. No one needs to cry for them, if it was that bad no one would live there.
Well, it helps moving country. I moved from a rather rich western European country to a not-quite-as-rich southern European country. (When I say "not-quite-so-rich", things have really changed over the past 20 years, and it's light years away from what you'd call a poor country.) There are areas in the USA (West Virginia for example) where people don't even have running water or electricity. Anyway, migrating gives you a whole perspective, not only of the place where you moved to, but also the place where you came from. Certain things that you took for granted are not so obvious elsewhere. Like, for example, an almost perfectly reliable electricity supply. (Again, this has massively improved over the 20 years that I've lived here.)
Oh dear God. How did I not find this channel before. What an absolutely amazing take on Norilsk. Hidden gem of a channel Love the content, keep them coming.
Very very nice video my man! Its nice to see someone actually present this city and life in it as it really is. I wish you nothing but the best in life. Greetings from Croatia🇭🇷❤
Very cool how you live there. Much appreciated that you took us all in to your appartment, i was really curious to see how its inside of one the buildings. With some modifications you made it look very comfy.
I also like the information you give on the city and culture there. That’s probably why most people follow you because it’s interesting and different for us.
Your home is lovely I would be very happy to live there. Your baby is so cute. I think you can be happy any where if you want to. I wish I could have a holiday in your city.
I wouldn't say its beautiful...just about average. Like getting by. The outside block looks freaky...like I wouldn't want to stay there. Like the poorer side of town. Ive seen them in south africa. I'd stay there for the short term. This is my honest opinion
Hi andrew you give a unique and totally different aspect of living on our lovely planet earth. I appreciate your great work keep it up. I am immensely enjoying it. I give you like.
Hello my friend 👋, the apartment is nice and cozy, lots of light💡. you have a good view of the street 🏖and yes, the walls are really thick. oh and a nice family! stay warm 🔥 🙏🍎
You made me laugh a bit in the part when you said to pause the video and like, so funny the way you said it! Anyways I would give you a thousand likes if I could! I know I'm a little weird haha but I'm fixated with Norilsk. I was so sad when I found out it's a closed city to foreigners. I found your channel on UA-cam by chance but it answers so many of my curiosities about this amazing city. And I still have so many questions! I'm bothered when some people on the internet make Norilsk (or Russia in general) pass as a polluted and dismal place. I've grown up in three different countries and I can say that you don't know a place at all until you've actually lived there for a while. Thank you so much for these awesome videos. Greetings from Pisa (by an Italian-American born in Switzerland)
The Florida heat has driven me to virtual apartment tours in Siberia and I could not be happier! Of you ever want to do a house swap for a week you can come live by the beach and I'll go visit beautiful Norilsk! Thank you for opening your home to the world and sharing with us. I love the honest opinion about the city. The other videos I saw make it look like a dark lifeless factory, but it looks full of life. Hope you're doing well!
