I’d be curious to see other samples of apartments in the same block of bigger size - say 2 bedroom and lounge - and how prices compare
Smaller apartments are easier to sell because they are cheaper. Really big apartments are too expensive in Russia and difficult to sell, and you need more money to maintain them and more time and effort to clean them. But if you have a high income, you can buy an apartment with three bedrooms, two toilets and a bathroom, a living room, a kitchen and two loggias or even a penthouse and hire a cleaning lady who will wash and clean everything here and there

Great video. thank you. The grounds are amazing outside, gym equipments and play area. It’s very well designed. It would be more expensive in Sydney - Australia possibly around $1200 per month. I enjoyed it ❤

B/t 50$ and 60 $ a mth for a new flat is more than reasonable. In America that same flat wld cost b/t three and six thousand dollars a mth depending what state the flat was located in.
Beautiful flat! Bright and airy! And in a major city?!! Wow! Close to the metro as well. I used to live in Atlanta, Georgia, southeastern United States. Downtown Atlanta, 2024, I’m guessing that apartment might cost $2,500-$3,000. Even in Chattanooga, Tennessee, two hours drive north of Atlanta, that apartment would cost $2,200 if in downtown, or a little less if farther from the city center. There are areas downtown here (Chattanooga) where the minimum income (about two years ago) was $125,000 annually to rent an apartment. Hi, I also lived in a similar studio, exactly the same layout. The refrigerator made it difficult to enjoy the silence and relax. I moved it to the hallway. You can put a refrigerator in the hallway, and bring a chest of drawers into the room. I had a curtain in the archway to the room and it was quiet.
Love it. The outside spaces are just short one thing....BBQ's. Living in Russia is like a modernised 1960's. The old conservative values still in place.
Thank you, it's very informative! As for prices, I find them rather high, but it's the market price. A story from real life, if someone cares: a friend of mine, a First-year Uni student, got eager to live separately from her parents and asked her Mom for support(financial)). Her Mom was like: I don't pay some 45000 roubles (around the same without two zeroes in dollars) for a one- bedroom flat, since we have a two-level apartment. Then she was informed that she was behind the times, and no more studio, to say nothing of a one bedroom flat, for this money. But only a room, in a flat to share. So the good lady went very🙀 and said No! very explicitly.
As Russian I can say that over 10k grand for this kitchen is BS even in Moscow. More like 4-6k tops. Boxes does look as standard cheaper stuff, facades are cheap, counter top look like some laminated "through away after 5 years" stuff. Equipment is just noname Chinese stuff aside fridge. And most of appliances are half the size of standard stuff, so they should be cheaper. Only expensive thing I see are hinges for the main façade. In 2024 I have spent 11k on kitchen triple the size with for the most part EU produced appliances and it had decent painted facades and fake stone counter. If that mini kitchen was 10k, someone got ripped off.
I think this is a lovely apartment for an individual or couple. Are you of Russian heritage having commented in Russian ? TY for sharing this with us 🙂
bro, this is OVERPRICED price ! such STUDIO apartment in such building cost 40k-50k roubles or 400-500 EUR 70k - is a price for 1BR flat by the way - I'm in Moscow too, so I could show you few more but much interesting examples (i live in one of such places, in 3BR apt) let me know if you are interested

@@englishmaninrussia yeah, i know that for "this" place which was on your video it's a "regular" price - since it's a west-part of Moscow, which is more expensive than other parts of the city (as i understand it's Академика Павлова / Akademika Pavlova - at 10:38 i think it's a Kuntsevo Plaza) here's a list of new buildings which you could check : 1. the same "infrastructure level" as on your video : Селигер Сити (Seliger City) Шереметьевский (Sheremetievskiy) Люблинский Парк (Lyublinskiy Park) 2. this is more advanced - they have much bigger / more developed territory : Символ (Symbol) - it's territory like an own park Фили Град (Fili Grad) Береговой (Beregovoy) Западный Порт (Zapadniy Port) - they have a great embankment with a view of Moscow City district at night the view from that side is really cyberpunk style, especially if it's foggy, kinda like Blade Runner 2049 movie ALIA - it's a part of micro-city Tushino River, which is a part of Rostec-city - a business district of Rostec corporation 3. this is more premium districts , also with a huge embankment and parks : ЗИЛ АРТ (ZIL ART) / ШАГАЛ (SHAGAL) - this two districts are connected together by the well-developed embankment i decided to write you such detailed guide, since there a lot of western youtubers who are showing the life in Moscow, but ALL of them are showing only the center of the city or some USSR-style buildings so the perception of the city by the viewers after watching such videos are still the same as it was 50 years ago : "vodka & balalaika" )) if you have time - we could meet tomorrow (22 Sept) at 17.00 (5.00 pm) at the Fili Grad shopping mall there's a cafe - "Cafe 288" , so it's easy to find )

She lives ONLY on US Social Security..... but could perhaps do odd jobs like baby sitting and or Office work from home ONLY? Is there Public transportation available to go to the Market for grocery and healthcare? and ALSO do you allow Amazon Product Delivery? Thank you
Yes, it's incredibly safe day and night, women think nothing of walking alone in Moscow after dark. Huge amount of public transport, europe's largest electric bus fleet and car sharing fleet. The most beautiful and efficient subway system in the world. Amazon is not here, there are Russian equivalents - Wildberries and Ozon.

Interesting. i would've expected them to be way way way cheaper. I guess a big city is expensive anywhere, and it's probably in line or maybe even a tad cheaper than many other european capitals. But for some reason i expected it more to be like thai prices lol. way worse value IMO than the other apt you showed but for your lifestyle i guess it works better. Area is certainly a bit nicer but i wonder if it's worth the crampedness.
Yes, new flats are a lot more than the older ones to rent as you see in comparison to the older flat tour I did which was 4x bigger but the same price to rent.
Looks nice, but not functional for quality living. Bathtubs are better. Need Kitchens with more counter space and storage. Full size refridgerator for full time living. Room for a Chest Freezer. A gardening area in the court yard.
So small for so much money! My 2 bed, 1 bath, and 1 car house on 1/3 acre is less than that. It must have to do with the location. I'm in the US. Maybe Russia is more expensive.

Я считаю, что они отвечают за большее количество строительства, чем любая другая компания в Москве за последний год, так что это прекрасный пример. Я покажу бизнес-класс в другом видео
This fridge is totally silent, I hadn't thought about that until you said it. I'm lucky with that then
A very nice flat indeed 😊and a great deal 😊 I would love to move to Russia, my ancestors came from there ❤
It's really a good life in Moscow
Love it. The outside spaces are just short one thing....BBQ's. Living in Russia is like a modernised 1960's. The old conservative values still in place.
Very true
Вата
Judging by the building it is a PIK project. I wonder what the district is it?
Correct Molodozhnaya
Do you hear other people's noise inside the units? Like music, subwoofers, neighbors talking???
Thanks for the video.
Rarely, walls are reasonably thick and there's a culture/accountability here of respecting neighbours in terms of led noise etc
You are welcome. Yes, prices have really gone up
Where is the clothes dryer
This is amazing! We have been told something completely different, what are the disadvantages please.❤
Look after yourself first and foremost..... you will get through it. Good value for that that flat.... I can't imagine being very welcome in Moscow.
I think this is a lovely apartment for an individual or couple. Are you of Russian heritage having commented in Russian ? TY for sharing this with us 🙂
I agree. Nope, all of my family history is English.
I like this apartment very much!!!
Thanks :)
bro, this is OVERPRICED price !
such STUDIO apartment in such building
cost 40k-50k roubles or 400-500 EUR
70k - is a price for 1BR flat
by the way - I'm in Moscow too,
so I could show you few more
but much interesting examples
(i live in one of such places, in 3BR apt)
let me know if you are interested
I am interested thank you. As far as price for this area it's not overpriced, I have watched rentals on Cian for months and they all go within 48 hours at this price level. Which area exactly are you talking about,? I'd be interested thanks.
@@englishmaninrussia yeah, i know that for "this" place which was on your video it's a "regular" price - since it's a west-part of Moscow, which is more expensive than other parts of the city
(as i understand it's Академика Павлова / Akademika Pavlova - at 10:38 i think it's a Kuntsevo Plaza)
here's a list of new buildings which you could check :
1. the same "infrastructure level" as on your video :
Селигер Сити (Seliger City)
Шереметьевский (Sheremetievskiy)
Люблинский Парк (Lyublinskiy Park)
2. this is more advanced - they have
much bigger / more developed territory :
Символ (Symbol) - it's territory like an own park
Фили Град (Fili Grad)
Береговой (Beregovoy)
Западный Порт (Zapadniy Port)
- they have a great embankment
with a view of Moscow City district
at night the view from that side is really cyberpunk style,
especially if it's foggy, kinda like Blade Runner 2049 movie
ALIA - it's a part of micro-city Tushino River,
which is a part of Rostec-city
- a business district of Rostec corporation
3. this is more premium districts ,
also with a huge embankment and parks :
ЗИЛ АРТ (ZIL ART) / ШАГАЛ (SHAGAL)
- this two districts are connected together
by the well-developed embankment
i decided to write you such detailed guide,
since there a lot of western youtubers
who are showing the life in Moscow,
but ALL of them are showing only the center
of the city or some USSR-style buildings
so the perception of the city
by the viewers after watching such videos
are still the same as it was 50 years ago :
"vodka & balalaika" ))
if you have time - we could meet tomorrow (22 Sept)
at 17.00 (5.00 pm) at the Fili Grad shopping mall
there's a cafe - "Cafe 288" , so it's easy to find )
@@zrx2779 Thank you for so much info, really appreciated!
Nice. Similar price as a studio apartment here in Arizona.
I’ve heard Arizona is very nice
Great studio apartment, in my opinion. your videos are amazing to let us know how life is going in Russia. By the way, sorry to hear that you are experiencing hard times in your life, I wish you all the best, mate.
Thank you very much
It looks like new construction in Brooklyn
Oh yeah?
@@englishmaninrussia when I pass the construction site I'll have to send you some photos it's the same brick color and even with the matching boulders in the garden courtyard
The only thing I don’t like about currency outside of America is it’s not solid. Your money could be worth something different on a day to day basis.
Yes, it's true. However the purchasing power of the $ itself has fallen hugely too. Seems digital currencies and crypto may be the future
In Upstate New York is would be about $1800. In New York City about $4200. Very nice
Yes, it's so expensive in the US now
Where are the people? Looks like a nice day, many units, Is that typical to see almost no one? In USA place would be bustling at 1015 am.
Godbless you keep safe
Wishing you very much strength, hope all is going to work out perfect for you. Please do not hesitate to ask your subscribers to help you if you need support. 🙏

Look after yourself. Thanks for the video.
Thank you
Why are no people anywhere on the streets?
Early morning so I could video before it gets busier
A community garden area would be nice.
I agree
I have been told that UA-cam has been banned in Russia. Is this true
Some kind of restriction I think but can still use it..
Very important it is heater battery wintertime always warn and comfortable.
Yes, one great thing here is the cheap heating system for everyone.
Just surprised to see it has an inhouse toilet and running water.
Shows how well media works at fooling people
@@englishmaninrussia that is true for sure.
I liked the older flat much better. 🙂
Very different, I think I liked the older one more too
hello, I have a very strange, but serious question.
Can you guys see the stars and moon clearly in Russia's night sky?
Can you see the sky filled with stars in Russia's night sky?
If the answer is yes.... can you please film them and show us?
Нифигасе, как расстроился Брайтон-Бич. А цены рента за студию как на северном Манхетене.
Должно быть, это плохой район, раз там такая цена, не так ли?
What a depressing area and apartment. But I guess that's par for the course in mother Russia!!
If you think it looks depressing in summer, wait until October. Then you'll know how depressing it really looks 😂
How much this will sell for?
Why in God’s name would they build a kitchen in the bedroom? How utterly bizarre.
I love the hammocks
Nice idea aren't they
50 water electricity. About gas? Cost building door man? 750 is not cheap. Mybe 20 30 km out of Mosca 300 💲 it's possible and bigger
All utilities for that price. No concierge in this building. Of course outside of the capital city it's cheaper, the same in the whole world.
@@englishmaninrussia that s convenenient for 50 all inclusive. In the night is like NY or London there in this district? Thanks
@@lucatoni5827 Super safe day and night.
Hi There.... Would this be a Safe APT for a Single Widow Lady to live with her cat?
Open your windows. You have a lot of new finishes emiting VOC's...off gasing.
It's open
Pretty expensive for the tiny space. Also no balcony etc.
Compared to where? Agree, a balcony would be nice
I like the old two bedroom one better.
Certainly so much more space there
Matt, Where is the apartment that you showed for $700.00?
Molodozhnaya
@englishmaninrussia Thanks for your videos. You have nice channel and I hope that all is ok with you and that difficult time was finished or will finished soon. Thanks for your view on my native country 🙏 The flat is small, but new and in nice area. The price for rent is the middle in Moscow. But all prices was higher too much the last time. I wish you nice time and that all will be ok with you and your family 🙏
Thank you very much
Interesting. i would've expected them to be way way way cheaper.
Cute, but I like the older apartment
Older one certainly gives a lot more space
Everything will be ok,
Thank you
👍
Looks nice, but not functional for quality living. Bathtubs are better. Need Kitchens with more counter space and storage. Full size refridgerator for full time living. Room for a Chest Freezer. A gardening area in the court yard.
Can't have it all in such a space
@@englishmaninrussia It's a studio....I missed that part...the first listen.
So small for so much money! My 2 bed, 1 bath, and 1 car house on 1/3 acre is less than that. It must have to do with the location. I'm in the US. Maybe Russia is more expensive.
This is the capital city, that's the main reason, where are you based?
Wow, the prices are such a ripoff even for tiny claustrophobic studios lately. Unfortunately, this will only get worse due to the worsening Russian economy. 😢
Nice to hear pure British English, not American one.
Thank you :)
do you can buy these ones?
Yes you can
Roughly the same unit u r in, how much does it cost to buy?
