Dark Choir & Atmospheric strings: The Forgotten Empire | 1 hour of Disciples II inspired ambient

- The Forgotten Empire: 1 hour of Dark Choir & Strings. The dark, smooth choral, orchestral string passages and light atmospheric piano are mainly inspired by the phenomenal Disciples II OST, but as usual WH40k shrine world atmosphere is pervading in the background. A little bit of inspiration comes from LotR too. Once mighty and sacred, the island of Hybernia now remains a monolith to the ancient civilization, inspiring wandering poets and an occasional pilgrim-priest. Colossal monastery-citadels of Epiphania, center of the lost theocratic Hybernian Empire, are layered throughout the western regions of Thornmountains; sunken into deep nature, they are slowly becoming almost a part of the landscape. The mysterious silence of forgotten centuries is broken only by the furious northwinds and calls of huge titan-ravens circling above once golden domes.

Hey Prometheus studio I was wondering if you were doing 🆗 today and checking in? My writing✍️ is doing well and I love the new video. I love the vocals in this it helps bring my story's Angels to life... This is what they sound like especially the deep vocals from Warhammer and the monolithic vocals... I hope you are doing well and thank you for another beautiful video📼.
@@shanesphon4449 Thanks, glad you enjoy this one and that you're doing well with the writing.
This music it's a so satanic and negative. Makes me sick when I listened. Can't you make some normal music?
@@mariaanastasova719 why do you think🤔💭 that? His music🎶🎵 is nothing of the sort... I use his music to write✍️ my religious fantasy novel and it's amazing. How does it come across as satanic... Enlighten me.
@@mariaanastasova719 This music is anything but satanic. I'm baffled with this comment.
Disciples vibes never been so strong
Another masterpiece of dark ambient, the perfect combination
Some good stuff to relax, calming the nerves after a difficult and bad day. Excellent, keep the good work !
Great to hear that. Thanks.
Hope your days are better now, stranger.
This does an incredible job of really capturing the feeling of something incredible. Fully plan on using this music when my D&D players are exploring the ruins of an ancient city!
Very fitting for Disciples II indeed.
Great job as usual.
Many thanks.
I love this series - truly helps the artist paint!
Very glad to know that!
Love the atmosphere of both the music and the backgrounds complementing each other~
The past age, slowly fading into obscurity. The dawn of a new time, is yet to come. Will it ever arise?
I am growing weary of living in this twilight, caught inbetween shadows of the past and lights of the future. Unsure if the darkness will swallow me or if I will be led astray by gleams pretending to announce the new age.
Yet here I stand, still. Free of ambition, stripped of all purpose, consumed by dread, knowing the time may never come.
Engulfed by mist, weighed down by debris, part of an era that will be remembered by none.
Undead are the shadow of an age past. Bethrezen is the bearer of light. Of a new world
The art reminds me of The Ringed City from Dark Souls III. Excellent playlist, as always.
Legendary work. I really don't know how to explain how these make me feel.
Incredible stuff. This channel is a bit of a secret weapon for increasing my writing focus now.
Haha, that's awesome.
Great artwork, and great music to it. Amazing, intense and creepy
Prometheus Studio captures the fire and then knocks it out the park. Brilliant.
I love these dark gothic compilations. You're one of the best channels.
Thanks for that.
Amazing , just Amazing. Very Artistic and Gregorian.... Thank you
The best piece you’ve ever done!
This is insanely good. The image and other elements take me to scenes from games that I love. I'm programming and is great to work with this music!
Touches and caresses my psyche. Otherworldly. Like listening to Peer Gynt from Sibelius as a child.
I've been refreshing the YT channel page with the hope Prometheus will post another masterpiece. And today was the day❤🎉
I adore this type music, especially when you have a bad Day
Perfect combo of electronic and choral music.
Brilliant. Instantly one of my favorites.
The Forgotten Empire - Love that concept!
The Crows were a great touch
very relaxing video
Muchas gracias Prometheus...
Спасибо!!!!!!!!!)
Amazing very nice work 👍
Thanks.
perfect music for exploring cursed megaliths. I have to buy Elden ring :( im not gonna be good at it, but the sprawling demon-infested ruins of that forgotten empire is damn pretty to explore
Another great one :)
Thanks.
Excellent. 🙂

This is amazing
Wonderful!
Deep in the dark recesses of the Outerrim a danger is said to lurk, along ancient and forgotten hyperspace paths, of which only they know the existence of, their ancient ships patrol the darkness of space. If they hold a singular name for their people or even are people, we might never know, for they guard the borders of their nebulously defined territories zealously and few ever return from there. Ancient stories and studies of the region paint a grim picture however; almost four thousand years ago there was indeed an empire among the outterim, stretching as far as the midrim and some even speculate that they might've reached the core, though no archaeological evidence can be found. This empire was reviled for widespread consumption of sentient creatures as 'cattle' and was described as having a vast army.
What happened to them, we wonder, for them to shrink their borders so much that we barely know of their existence? Some scholars think it was a war, perhaps a civil war, that broke their power... However others claim they outgrew their economy and collapsed. We simply do not know. All we know is - should they ever return to their empire building ways, we might no longer have the technological capacity to stop them.

Such scary lore
great video, what forgotten empire is this, just asking 😀, thanks - CyberGod
Thanks. You have details in the video description. It's from my own lore, the world of Edenium.
Pls pls pls pls more disciples inspired content
Bravo
Amazing music, also amazing art to accompany it. Is the art available for download somewhere? I'd love for this to be my desktop background.
Thanks. So far no download, I may put it online somewhere if people wish it.
@@prometheusstudioambient I would appreciate it.
Hey, I’m a new subscriber ❤ I wonder how to include these effects on the picture like (wind, flying crows and the fog) thank you
Depends on which video editor you use. This is made with Sony Vegas, and the 'effects' are called 'overlays'.
Hey bro ! Where do u find these wallpapers for thumbnail , plz enlighten I want them too ! Specially the sly atrium one ☝️
Someone should make a Dark Souls-inspired game set in Nevendaar where you explore the remnants of the Empire, now infested with the undead and demons fighting one another, seeing the aftermath of some "final" war centuries after the fact. Dwarves and Elves would either be gone too or living in hiding away from the eyes of the decaying world
Your smart use of AI for the background art always baffles me. It comes out extremely majestic lol.
It's a struggle getting these kinds of things. Layering image upon image upon image, prompt upon prompt... I also edit them myself later in Photoshop. I might as well draw them from scratch, that's the amount of time I spend on them. It also starts to feel kinda awkward using generated images, I think I might be reverting back to a 'human' created art.
@@prometheusstudioambient Well if you've acquired that kind of editing skills then you just need to learn drawing ha ha. You'll also need to learn ancient urbanism too lol.
@@unknownuser457gll4 I tried, but the thing is I'm not so good at painting, and the result doesn't look as near as this. Also, mixing up different stuff in a generator gave me some really interesting and fresh ideas which I haven't seen anywhere around. Still, I know it's an ongoing issue with concept artists, and I'd rather be using human artwork in a long term.
I like these dark melancholic vibes to conjure my hate animal and meditate on power
Love You Music
Starting with some real Ikana Canyon vibes
Reminds me of New Risen Throne just a pinch.
Needs to be more than an hour and needs dark wraiths, ravens, undead, etc

It will soon join Imperium.

Unfortunately, at some point the "yb" got dropped from the name of the Island. To this day it is a matter of much speculation and heated discussion how that came to pass, whether it was a deliberate act of malice or a mere linguistic change accumulated over the millennia, but what is certain is that it is chiefly by that simple act that the connection between the name of the island which was once a home to a mighty Empire and a mundane medical condition got fatally intertwined never to be undone again.
i m a villian , not a monster
This It's a pity that the wrong beautiful litanies or prayers from the Imperium, it was a masterpiece. Do you have any interesting litanies from Warhammer?
If I understood correctly, you're asking about Warhammer-inspired litanies? There are plenty here, you have an entire playlist on the channel.
What did he mean by this
But for real... This ambient fits any 40k setting like a glove

Lack of some trees on background
loved the music and aesthetic, but my ADHD was not jiving with those damn crows every few seconds or so. Def just a me thing though.
