It's pitiful how publishers and creators don't really appreciate sound and perspective. If they filmed an art gallery, it would be like walking past everything, giving glimpses of the piece on camera, then pointing the camera to their faces for five minutes. They don't understand that the fantasy is to have the driver's seat alone. The dream is not to pretend we're seeing the car in a movie, or to hang out with a friend who owns the dream car. Not everything should be filmed like Top Gear. Not even Top Gear.
Sublime. Only 35 built by Derek Bennett and Co. Likely running a 1790 FVC. I LOVE the sound of a 4pot, especially if it's getting all aggro in a 2 litre prototype. Awesome!
For just two seconds, I felt going down that straight and up to the curve, happen to have a fan in my office and wind hit me while watching the video with headphones on. Sublime video, audio quality and exquisite editing as always.
Years ago at my local circuit one of the semi regular racers there had a B19. We also had a B8, a B21 and a couple of Lotus 23Bs, and two Johnston JM2s. When on the rare occasion they were all there at once, it was special.
Me too. There's something about a small, lightweight sports prototype that makes a lot of sense. These cars would have raced on the old 14 kilometre circuit in their day.
Thank you. We need more just like it. Please. The wheel in my sim setup broke and won't be replaced for a bit. This will have to do for now. Needless to say, I've subscribed.
incredible!!! i coudn't imagine that a Chevrolet "coud play" this fantastic sound......i'm italian so u can understand what i live everyday with our cars.....(congratulation to the driver too) thank you for all
Me on my way home after a bad fish sandwich. Seriously though, I love the raw metallic sounds of the engine, tires, and wind… no flavor of the month song that takes way from the whole experience car guys live for in this uploads.
Wow, that was fantastic, the snappy rear end and the superfast counter corrections were great to watch. I recently fell into the "rabbit warren of sim racing watching" where some silly kid dressed up in full face helmet and race suit played his game, profound disappointment resulted from that nonsense exchange. This is brilliant.
Either a GoPro or DJI with a close focusing filter, probably a GoPro because of the square lens cover. Definitely external microphone. You can see the small camera in the beginning of the video behind the driver's helmet. Edit: Forgot to mention, stabilization off. The one thing many people don't do correctly when recording onboard footage. Additional details: Slightly narrow FOV setting with Lens correction and either vibrant color setting or edited to be that. Sharpness at its lowest if there's a setting for that.
Fantastic onboard, thx ! Having the gear shift in the pov is important imo. Would next step to add a pedals/feet cam ? Great driving of course ! Qualif lap indeed, didn't the rpm twice clearly exceed the rev limiter on the big engine brakes ? Thx all involved for making and sharing !
The Cosworth FVC (gear driven Four Valves "version C") was the fore-runner of the BDA (Belt Driven). This FVA was produced as the prototype of the DFV for which no introduction is needed!
@@145853 I have just done some research. It is probably 1999cc (with fuel injection) and apparently gives 276 bhp SAE. The car is a B19 from 71-72. This means it could very well be a BDA rather than a FVA. In any case, this car qualified sandwiched between two T70s at this event. Good driver.
Believe it or not but that’s a 2 liter 4 cylinder doing all that.
HOW ?!
@@vadim752 I guess it helps that the car weighs absolutely nothing
Hi flow headers + light valves, plates, Springs + high graduated cams = revving as a motorcicle i guess kkkk
I guessed it was a flat six or a super small V8, thats neat
Right?!
I love this kind of content, no edits every 2 seconds , no cringy music just the car, the driver and the engine sound
And no supercar-bimbo...
I mean blondie~
Yep. The way it should be.
Totally, since finding this channel its all I've been watching

'Only'... I didn't agree Wikipedia on this. I'd have thought 35 of these would be a significant number.

This is a simple video, racing car , driver track GO! No crap music or unneeded commentary. Perfect. Love this 👏👏😊👍
This could be an hour long and I would gladly watch the whole thing! 😃
Incredible noise, speed and driving!
absolutely stellar quality Robbert! Your onboards are on another level

Dude i've just discovered this channel today. I Never saw so many legends cars with these kind of takes. Amazing!
Whoever produced that engine, really knows how to make a flexible, powerful unit! Very impressive!

0:37 Approaching that hill without lifting was exhilarating! Great driving! 👍
Commitment
Yes,quite a famous hill too.
Love those B19s. Hard to believe they are 50 years old. Saw John Miles race the DART B19 at Ingliston.

I can't get enough of your videos mate!
Your channel brings such beautiful footage without getting the views it deserves, I feel obliged to share it with friends. Congratulations!

Thank you. We need more just like it. Please.
The wheel in my sim setup broke and won't be replaced for a bit. This will have to do for now. Needless to say, I've subscribed.

Damn...what a driver & look how hard he went into the corners!
Best era for racing cars in my opinion love the canam endurance cars!!!!!
0:42 slithering through Eau Rouge...completely in control
Amazing!!!To the spot gearing on this machine for this track!!!
A 4-banger has never sounded so good!
Those gear changes 🤯👏🏻👏🏻
its so soothing...

if one day a video of a Pagani Huayra R appears here on this channel, it will be the most watched video for sure
You are the one and only Channel I will ever get reminders for. This is freaking epic! Would love to know how you captured the audio.
Nice drive Tom 🤗 You lucky boy you 🤗 That motor sounds so Sweet 🔥 👌
Great !!! 1.000.000 likes !
So sick!! What camera do you use for onboard and are you using an external microphone?

Beautiful.♥
You deserve more subs... this content is amazing. Congrats!
What a channel!!
Stunning! Ratio is slightly too short?
noticed the rev limiter cutting in around 0:55 on the Kremmel straight
Beautiful videos! Love the channel 😁
So good✨
Nothing like driving an old race car on treaded tires; so much fun.
I m in Love
What a Pilot! 🏆🏆🏆
Good driver. Enjoyed that.
Amazing
your videos are amazing!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Very cool!!!!!!!!!👍👍
I've just discovered this channel and I'm astonished! How do you get such incredible footage?
I need a Cosworth FVC in my MX5... Awesome video!
Impresionante...
Built in Bolton, Lancashire, close to where I Iived. That’s a fine handling car (especially compared to the Lola T70 video)!
Que delícia de canal achei que voce tinha parado de postar video 😁
Just glorious.
Almost cried when he went onto the gravel though 😂
always good mate

The throws on that shifter are amazingly short. Does anyone know if it’s a dog box? If not then he is dancing on the pedals pretty well
Very nice onboard and you should check out Osella PA2000 hillclimb prototype which is normally powered by Honda K20 engine and it sounds great.
Not impressed? BLOODY MIRACULOUS ! What a soundtrack.
Oh my god 🤯🤯🤯
Im in love 💕!!
What camera are you using? The quality is always 💯.
It’s was the best of times,,, when cars were pieces of art and drivers were consider gods……
Hands of a driver that is used to electronic assists.
HERMOSO
I wish some of these existed in sim racing.
Wow....😍
I can see she likes to dance, and she has a good dance partner, a real drivers car.
So would that be a Lotus or Cosworth 4 cylinder? It sounds magnificent!
Ford Cosworth BDA?

@@Andrew-vx2ls 235 HP out of 1.8l in 1969. Impressive little lump
@@VanishingPoint96 Also makes a really impressive sound. The first time I heard a BDA at full chat I was amazed...a Ford Escort sounding like a F1 !
@@Andrew-vx2ls Yes I know, but Robert say it’s a 2liter 4cylinder, so I suppose a 2LT BDA Cosworth.

👏👏👏
whats the camera and the lens used to make the video ?
All that and no shot going through Au Rouge
damn what setup are you using, this is sublime
No battery "power unit", no ABS, no traction control. Just the driver, a screaming engine and a real shifter. Racing as it should be.
If you could get the Mazda 787B that would be amazing. Is this heaven?
Was kostet so ein Spaß?
