@@CrashWilcox wait, You're telling me that the studiobook is unlocked ? I won mine at an ebay auction for 1200, nearly had the pro art for the same price 🫥
@@whitepenali No, Im not sure if it is or if the pro art is, Im just speculating.
Hello do you have the same version with a 4060 ?
No, I'm sorry. I never got to try that model. I'm sure it's quite nice though. If the price is good, I think you would be happy with it.
Can anyony explain please... Description says "no g-sync on main display". Does it mean I will have g-sync if I connect external monitor?
Gsync is reliant on the monitor, so if the external monitor supports gsync then it should work
Hi. Does the display hurt your eyes?
No, I don't recall it hurting my eyes.
you said it has the same screen as the proart studiobook 16, it doesn't
What's the difference?
That's right. This one is actually a lot better 😮 Proart comes with a touch screen but unfortunately it creates so called "screen door effect" (kind of moire, try to Google it) which makes ProArt a trash for every professional who works with graphics, color etc. What an irony... I'm still looking for a decent laptop with max specs without this useless touch screen gimmick.
why only 2TB of M.2 SSD max? I don't get it
Yeah, it's basically like Apple, manufacturer-imposed limitations.
@@CrashWilcox a good reason not to buy this thing. and not Apple anyways.
@@tom_hengst Yeah, the point of not buying Apple is not buying Apple. Windows dressed up as Apple is no better.
@@CrashWilcox I get the impression that Linux is on the rise lately. Including other open source solutions to become more "corporate free".
@@tom_hengst I have had a desire to get into Linux for awhile but I just don't think I will maintain the desire to learn it appropriately.

DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE! ASUS knowingly had manufactured a defective design After only 4 months, the computer's hinge has broken. They will repair under warranty, but it must be sent in. If you can afford to be without the computer for a month, go for it! But know that you will have to get it repaired within the year.
I'm sorry to hear about that, thanks for the warning.
Never happened to me or anyone else I know
Lmao...I think this is your problem. You treat your machine like a toy xD
I am using asus vivobook s15 bought in 2019 still using it now without any design issue
I don’t agree,buy a desktop… Less than 9 hour battery, forget it!
I don't understand how this maxes out at a 2TB ssd, surely you can just stick a 4tb ssd in it and it should work just fine?
