Nice find. They still out there. Cool colour combo. You can buy fender fronts and weld in. Front clip was painted at another factory. That’s why they all off colour. Just clean up. kitty hair it and rattle can to match. Better a survivor. Good luck👍👍.
@@deepsouthclassics9446 I see how this one turns out. By the way I've got a good portion of a 57 two-door post. I was going to build a black widow clone. I remember what you said about having to sell your 57.
First time watching a video of yours, from another down south guy I wish you well with your newest acquisition! I'm very sorry to hear you had to sell your 57, must have been heartbreaking!! Carry on and God bless!!
@@jimmysexton4201 thank you for watching! Yes it was a tough decision but I had to sell it. I stay in contact with the current owner and he has it running and driving now
This is my first time watching and I looking forward to seeing more of you videos. I wish I could do something like this but I have medical issues and enjoy watching other people fixing up cars that I remember as a kid growing up. I from ILLINOIS but looking forward to see how the Chevy comes together. Thanks 😊.
@@deepsouthclassics9446my daughter is called Indian Ivory and Sierra gold. I could be wrong. I only own the same car the same color for a few decades parrot it's been family since it was new. It looks a little better than this one just to put it in proper context. It's only 98,000 miles would it take it would look better. I probably should have sold at 10 years ago when I had this fabulous offer. Right away anybody can like a 57 and 55 in Texas special person to love the 56. That's my favorite part of the three by the way. Great Haul
That's awesome 😀 Now, do me a favour would you.... Pop it into a padded bag and just send it to me here in Down under Australia. Should only cost a few bucks 😉
Hopefully it won’t be too bad on the quarter panel. I done paint and body work for almost 20 years for a living until a heart attack took me out of the game. Maybe I can handle it
@@deepsouthclassics9446it took me a while to get mine but I'm slowly working on it I went to the tri five nationals this weekend and bought a bunch of parts for it
It doesn’t appear to have been wrecked, I think the hood was probably taken off when they started disassembling the top of the engine. Thanks for watching
Beautiful car! It deserves to be brought back to life!😍
