I just can't let a day go by without watching a KISS video or playing a KISS record since I was 9 (and I am 41 now!). KISS rules yesterday, today and forever. This is truly the rock band I always wanted to see live onstage.

Have to laugh at Gene and Ace looking as though they are advertising Listerine mouthwash. (If you missed that, its during the choruses!).
"Explains the 300 drums" LMAO it just kept increasing to the point where he'd have to stand on the bass drums because he was so small! But he was a great drummer :3
asdasd I mean he is in his late 60s so you can’t really blame him, he has been singing for more than 40 years and most people would lip sync now a days so I still love him.
This was the time where Paul was really blossoming vocally, the deep methodical tones mixed with the seemingly effortless highs (I mean there is no strain on his face) To me it started on his solo album, his voice matured from scratchy almost yelling to a methodical and melodic powerhouse like Take Me Away (Together as one) IMO his greatest vocals ever. And he continued to showcase that sound on Music From The Elder. From that point thru Revenge he just kept growing vocally, sad that age and wear and tear destroyed it. I love this show, especially Detroit Rock City, his voice is so clean and powerful on the verses and I LOVE the way he changes the timing and notes like "The Radios the only light" "pulls me thru" etc. So melodic vs previous versions.
Of course they are playing it in the end of the road tour. Saw them at Dickie's Arena in Fort Worth and let me tell you they sound as good as they ever did. There will truly never be another band like them.
Just like the 79 live versions with Peter Criss, this is almost a whole step higher in key than the recording, yet Paul still cranks out the high falsetto. Maybe not to the extent of the 79 live versions, but still doing some of the highest notes, in a higher key, on into 1980... pretty impressive. Stanley was on the level of Roger Taylor of Queen when it came to glass-shattering high falsetto.

Vinnie Vincent got kicked out of Kiss because he tried to make it all about him.
