  • Shannon Hoover of Thunder Laser Canada demonstrates how to set up a PiBurn 4.0 Rotary on a Thunder Laser laser cutter machine. A PiBurn Rotary tool is a useful add-on for your Thunder Laser laser cutter machine which allows you to engrave round objects like mugs and water bottles.
These are high-ticket items which will allow you to pay back the cost of your machine quickly!
If you already own one of these rotaries, you can also get an add on for the Grip attachment.

Awesome video. I have referred back to this a bunch of times. Thanks for making it.
One thing I noticed though though, I think the correction for the smaller lip diameter is wrong. I am engraving an almost identical water bottle with a smaller lip at the top and if I reduce the diameter of the rollers within the rotary setup from 63mm to 55mm, it stretches my design horizontally. If instead I increase the size of the rollers to 71mm, the design comes out in the correct proportions.

Why does PiBurn charge an extra $100 for thunder laser users. But all other laser users they don’t.
