The thing I love about these videos is that during minecraft the mic quality isn't that good but when he's not playing the mic is perfect. It honestly adds to the humor
I think it's because he likes to portray the gameplay as if it was through an actual camera which his avatar is holding. Like a documentary.
i believe its for authenticity and to tell the part between voice gameplay and voice narration. if it was just one mic through out the whole video then you wouldnt be able to tell the difference between the narration or gameplay
@@tariqbouzayane4888 both you and justa are probably 99% wrong, it's cause voice overs are normally done on audacity and you can remove microphone noise very easily and cut the audio down instead of doing it in editing software

After watching enough forge lab videos and trying to pinpoint how someone can be so good at surviving a game he can't play well (seriously, he can't figure out how to do anything, melee, Redstone, or how to use a bow, or even make obsidian), it dawned on me that he just excels at escaping dangerous situations. He rarely ever fends off anything other than one or two at the same time. He runs away, he hides, he goes underground. That's his talent... retreat
Smart man honestly. Takes calculated risks. I love it because it adds to the excitement of the video. Would be much more boring if he just saw an enemy and was like, “so yeah I ran up to it like a mad man and bonked it” to every enemy in the game. Adds personality to the video

I loved how we can hear fear, despair, sadness and happiness in his tone of voice. Furthermore, the video editing is very good and the game's shaders help to bring that more realistic look.
I also liked it when he burned down the whole house and then he realized he didn't need to do that, but it kind of added some touch on it as if it was really happening, that you HAD to burn the house because of the parasyte. It actually made me sad when he said he had to burn the house. It was a good house.
I just think it would be funnier if there was like some reaaal story behind it, to make the mod more immersive and all. But it was fun!
It's hard to believe all of this is just a game.

The creepy thing about boarded up doors is not just that someone is trying to lock a door, but if a board is on the inside, it means someone was trying to keep someone or something out. With boards on the outside, Someone was trying to keep something in. Its the little details like that, way the door was boarded up that can make it more scary.

Making textbook mistakes like digging straight down, disorganized inventory.
Plus it’s pretty clear that this is meant to be more of a mod-showcase/RP than a survival video. I mean, he’s narrating instead of commentating.
It's for dramatic effect. Wouldn't have twists and turns if he minmaxes and just bulldoze through the map
