I’ ve just got the me play and love it. Love the acoustic sound of it and its mid-scooped spectrum.
It's a great little guitar. I have to say, I can't choose a favourite, so the Play is a solid choice.

I have the blue lava original freeboost, but considering in moving for the lava me play or the Blu lava touch , But what I like the most it's a Natural not that much procesed , what would you be your recommendation for me
I first bought the Lava ME Play, didnt liked it that much, the High Pressure Laminate (HPL) Sound was very closed in and flat compared to the Spruce when i heard it on some UA-cam Videos, so i returned the ME Play and got the Spruce. The Sound is soooo much better. Much brighter, louder and almost like a normal quality Acoustic Guitar. Very noticable. Its absolutely worth the difference moneywise. Nice Video. Greetz
I got the blue lava original freeboost was thinking in going for lava me play but I should consider that I rather natural sounds so maybe it's time to save money for the sprude or I don't know of the blue lava touch it's worth

Dang. Would have loved a side-by-side comparison of the HPL vs the spruce playing the same exact passage in order to compare the sound quality. How stark is the contrast? Does the spruce really sound and feel $300 better?

I guess it depends what you want to get out of the guitar. I've never played that particular Taylor, so I can't give a comprehensive review and tell you irrefutably which is better, but the LAVA ME 4 is going to give you a lot more motivation to pick it up every day at home. The only real reason to choose the Taylor, as far as I can see, would be the LAVA's inability to take a soundhole pickup, which could prevent you from getting the sound you want in a live situation, particularly if you're a bit anal with tone. HILAVA is a great way to challenge yourself and connect with other musicians in a really interesting way.
I'm sure that's not made the decision for you, but I hope it's helped in some way.
I have Taylor gs mini e mahagony is very good guitar
It seems like a good guitar to buy, but I don't support and can't support Lava even though I can afford it, because I am a left hander. I am very interested in the spruce model.
I have a question: I can't decide between getting a Lava me 4 Spruce and a Lava Me Play. I wouldn't have any problem spending those extra money if I knew it was worth it but I really can't figure it out. Seeing this video it seems like these two models are too similar so it's not worth to get a 4 Spruce. Any advices?
Honestly, I really like the Play. Other people I've spoken to say that the Spruce has a much nicer sound, but I like both. How advanced a guitar player are you?
@@leetownsend not very much. I've been playing electric guitar for 5 years but as a self taught and I couldn't be very constant with the playing because of university

I don't have the 4 carbon, only the 3 carbon and 4 spruce, so I can't say with any level of certainty
How much does this guitar weigh?
Off the top of my head, I don't know. I'm sure that will be in the specs on the LAVA Music website, though 😊
The charging dock looks like one would piss into it.
I can't find a single person on youtiube who has not been sent Lava for free.
They do seem to have a large marketing budget. However, the guitars are as good as everyone is saying they are.

Has LAVA become a reputable guitar building company? What would make LAVA disreputable? Because they're new? Because they make guitars from non-wood materials?
No, there are plenty of ALL of those, and nobody questions if the companies are reputable. Let he market decide. Can't wait for Apple to come out with its own "i-guitar".
This company is the worst. Service is poor and the electronics inside keep breaking. I returned the guitar once only to have the same problem again. They won't return my emails
Sorry to hear that you're having thos experience with Lava Music. I've never had one break, so I can't comment on their customer service. However, you're not the only person to comment about this. Let's see if anyone from Lava Music can comment.
