3:53 “Is there a bad sound on this thing?” Yes, the sound you just played. That’s the worst distortion I’ve heard in a while.
I've played the previous gen live once, and it's awesome. No, it won't replace even the cheapest Martin or Taylor in a studio, but for live use, it sounds better than the majority of electric acoustics with stock pick-up systems.
I like the learning aspect. I like the lil effects. I think this would be a great bedroom guitar to fiddle around with. But I think they should also offer an app with a bunch of these features that doesn’t need to be connected to the guitar.

Pretty much all the guitar youtubers I watch have done a video on this guitar, and I think all of them were sponsored; I don't think I've ever seen this guitar outside of a sponsored video
I'm not saying it's a bad instrument, but the fact that it only makes an appearance when someone is being paid to use it it seems kind of suspicious
Maybe the industry is saturated by 5 major brands and they claimed a monopoly on brick and mortar dealers that most people buy from. Also, the used guitar market is huge...and this is a brand new product.
I've got the one of these. Not the carbon fibre and I've had it for a little over a year. It's.great to noodle and use different effects without plugging in etc. I probably don't use it as much as I could and I don't always turn it on but play just acoustically. Still a great tool for writer block. And off hand I can't even remember what user name I used for the uploads/account but I'll try to look your stuff up. 😊
This really takes technology and makes it easy for you to JUST bring your guitar with you, everywhere, to practice or record at ANY time.
Hey Tyler, 10 gage strings really feel good on those guitars. I have a lava me pro and the neck doesn't feel that good. So 10 gage strings works for me. Try it out!

I’m actually really impressed by how it sounds
I bought the 3rd gen Lava me’s 3 times and kept returning it for quality control issues. This was a year or more ago. I still get emails about the cyber security concerns requiring me to change my username and password. I really wanted the guitar to be good but ended up saving my pennys for a journey guitar and am very happy I did.
I have the Lava golden hour carbon guitar, and I love it. It is a great travel guitar or campfire guitar. In no way does it replace my Taylors, but it is a fun guitar to play anywhere.

Hey Tyler I hope your scar is healing nicely, I have a ton of scars on the back of my head from a dog attack and they are about 34 years old, my point is.. I didn't know I should be massaging the scar from sticking to the bone/muscle or skull underneath. So anytime I would put a hat on or rub them with any force they would feel like they were stretching and it was very painful. Just looking out for ya buddy 🤘 looks like it's healing nicely
Also taping over it during the first six months with micropore tape.

Friend, I wish I could buy one. unfortunately I can't, even though it would be gold on blue, as I have a disability in my left arm and a guitar like this, this size, would be a blessing.
Currently, the only thing that relaxes me and brings me some peace is sitting down with my little 3/4 apprentice guitar, improvising a little to the sound of backing tracks on UA-cam.
But who knows if one day I could make this dream come true, who knows?

I've been looking at the Enya take one this kind of guitar, but this one intrigues me ... might have to switch up my plans 😅
i have the enya entry model with no speaker just the carbon fiber guitar. it is great. I play it more than anything else. out of the box all i have done is new strings, action is great. stays in tune well. only downside is i wish it were a little louder.

Only the top model is carbon fiber. The rest are high pressure laminate (plywood)

They break easily, but before it broke I enjoyed it. Very easy to play. Surprised on the amount of low end. But fragile.

I turned 80 Sunday and I ain’t quite thru yet. I like the rhythms set in it and the various sounds are interesting. However, I still play my acoustics hard and this may be a tad delicate for this old rocker. Just toying with the idea of it.

Like all these lavas which like the hpl version which I've owned what is needed for longevity is separate Rechargeable replaceable lithium batteries. Eventually the in built ones will die making this guitar an expensive piece of furniture.

Lava ME 2 is more than enough, other effects are much better with real electric guitar.. i'm a big fan of MIW and i guess i can see when he really is excited or not..................................
