I love how you combined different media in your ladybug painting. I am still learning, but I want to try doing that too. Thank you for sharing your techniques.
Your art is beautiful and you’re an amazing teacher. I’m surprised you don’t have more viewers on your channel, here’s hoping to you getting the subscribers you deserve :)
Hey guys, If you enjoyed the video consider encouraging Sarah by giving it a like or even going the extra mile and subscribing! She makes great videos and deserves to hear that every once in a while. Keep up the great work Sarah!
This was very enjoyable to watch. I found you a couple of days ago because I looked up Ecoline and watched your Dr Ph Martin’s and Ecoline comparison video. Then after watching your Toucan video I had to subscribe. I like you doing the voice over on these videos better. You have a very relaxing and pleasant voice haha 😂 I’m very glad I found you. I’m totally going to look you up on Instagram now. Can’t wait to see a new video of yours. 😁
Wonderful Artwork! From what I understand , there are 2 types of these inks, one that is lightfast and the other not so much. Bombay or Hydrus is lightfast?
Thank you Jacob! Dr Ph Martins Hydrus watercolours do state that they are lightfast but then so do the Bombay India Inks. They don't state the degree of lightfastness though so I imagine there will be some variation depending on which pigments are used 😊
Hi Donna! Sorry for the delayed reply.. I'm trying to figure out which colours I used so bear with me! Can't believe I didn't detail them in the description at the time! I'm thinking the red might have been number 28 carmine from the Dr. Ph. Martin's hydrous range.? 😊
gorgeous.
Thank you Sharon 😊
Super awesome!!!🤩
Thank you so much Linda 😊

I just love this.
What was the plan for all the negative space? No more foliage? A few leaves just floating in space with a bug?
😂 Fair comment! I painted this a long while ago now and have hopefully learned a bit about composition since then!

@@SarahNewburyArt Thanks a lot!
Bombay Ink is not lightfast. Dr. P. H. Martins Hydrus is lightfast.
Hi, thank you for your wonderful videos. Can you please provide the exact model of the Escoda brush. There are several different types. TY
Hi! Thank you! The brush is an Escoda size 8 , by David Taylor- Prado series 1527/ 1477. I got it in a set of 3. Hope this helps 😊
I really like your ladybug and the splashes. But can you list the colours you use in description ty

Don’t worry about it it’s Christmas enjoy the season. Just something for next time ♥️🌲♥️
Don't like the splashes it looks like a mistake. If you going realistic just that...no splashes and colours too close to the lady bug colour.
Thanks for your feedback Patricia 😊
