Old town Albuquerque is so awesome. My brother lives there and I love all of the shops and street vendors! Also the hot air balloons are so pretty early in the morning
Suzanne Jones I love Old Town Albuquerque!!! also Chama,NM up North by the Colorado line where the old train is, they have a trip for a fee you can take in the mountains, beautiful area!!!
wow, you meeting the WWII codetalker was amazing! thanks for sharing that with us. so glad you got to meet him. i got a little misty myself 😢. be safe and happy trails! 😊
I wish you came when the whole ART construction was complete. But it's soo awesome to watch this video. Makes me appreciate what's just 20 minutes from home.
Aahh.. fond memories.. Albuquerque is the only small town I've ever visited in the US. Nice to see it again. Being English, I had to giggle a bit at your awe for a "Young" 200 year old church.. The pub down my road is 900 years old and going strong! I wish you'd visited whilst on your recent trip to Paris... Aah well.. next time maybe. Really enjoying your vlogs as always. Thanks xx
Love the idea of eBay mistery boxes. You can then buy more stuff from the people you meet and keep them doing what they love doing. And It will encourage us all to do the same, whenever and wherever we travel. Keep on Trekking!
I just found your channel and really love the content! I like how your videos are almost like a tour of the place you are at. I like that you give the history about the places you're at. Keep it up and I will keep watching! :)
omg Craig Ferguson's rattlesnake mug! I miss his Late Late show sooo much. He used to mention the Albuquerque Rattlesnake Museum every so often too. Usually when his guests asked him where the hell he got that ridiculously awesome mug. Good stuff.
I like that little Route 66 shield at the beginning! Oh wowww!! What a cool place to visit! That's another place on my bucketlist. I think my favourite was the albino one and the one staring up at you all the time! What a cute little guy! I had a friend once, back in my childhood who lived with an aunt who had a pet rattle snake. It lived in this huuuuuuuuuge handmade cage on the backwall of their bedroom. It was so cool, a little scary though...never slept over there I'll tell you that hahah. Ughhh why am I not surprised they've got a trantula over there! Spiders bother me a ton, and I'm glad I'm not the only one! (and that rhymed, haha) Actually just a few mornings ago I woke up to a spider just sitting on the wall BY MY HEAD going "good morning!" I screamed and threw a pillow at it, hahah. I've never seen a Scorpion up close in person in the wild, but I do have a fossilized one in Amber. Samantha (the Scorpion) has always been one of my favourite things I got from Arizona when I visited last time :) The mystery box definitely has my vote! That's a great idea! Completely supporting that! Remarkable you met the last living code talker, wow..that is such a crazy thought to consider. Well he certainly has all of OUR thanks, as well! You brighten up a lot of people's days with your videos :) That's true about the show bit! My father and mother always call them shows, too. I wonder if it's an older generation thing? Thanks again for another great upload! We look forward to your next adventure! :)
You could call them "Lost Route 66 Freight." And I would sign up for one if you make up mystery boxes. Thanks so much for this series. I still plan on doing what you are doing ... some day! Great episode!
Ahhh I'm still sooo upset I missed you!! I was in my sociology class at the community college when you were in Old Town!! Glad you took my suggestion on your website though, and visited Old Town. I knew you'd enjoy it since you love history so much! And yeah sorry I forgot to mention that there's a lot of construction down on Central aka Route 66 right now, I thought it'd be done by the time you came through town. And I forgot to tell you about "The Oldest House in the USA" up in Santa Fe, circa 1646 AD, as the sign on the gift shop says, that actually dates back to 1400 ce (whatever that stands for). I actually didn't know about that rattlesnake museum, I'll have to go sometime this weekend! Steve Irwin also helped me get over my fear of snakes, and now my sister's friend's ball python named Medusa is one of my favorite pets of anyone I know :) Anyways, hope I get to meet you on your way back if you stop here again! And have fun on the rest of your trip!
Man I miss Albuquerque! Such a beautiful city in such a beautiful state. I feel like it gets a bit of a bad rap as being kind of a "nowhere town" but when you know where to look there's a lot of cool stuff to see and do there! Hey on your way back if you go through the city again you should definitely stop at the 66 Diner on Central! Amazing malt shakes!
Awesome video of the old part of town and yes that sake museum was cool!! True story : a couple years ago while on a hike in the mountains nearby, I stepped within inches of a huge timber rattler. and contrary to some beliefs, they aren't always out to bite you. he/she simply lifted it's head.looked at me, (and while I was panicking I could hear your voice Justin saying" Would you look at the size of that Rattle Snake!!" lol). I suppose it sensed no threat. it was also calm from just eating apparently, having a huge bulge in its midsection.. maybe a rabbit or bird... earlier hiker... ha.. nah not that last one I hope.. but it simply slithered away quietly into some folage..after getting my heart back outta my throat.. I continued on. And while some can't stand snakes... remember in our ecology every creature is important to keep balance... Any way great video and keep em coming down oooollld route 66! 😆😆😆😆😆
Love the mystery box idea. Also, my son has started saying weird a LOT. I now realize after watching your videos for a few weeks where it came from. LOL
Took me a while longer to click on your video today b/c of the rattlesnakes word in the title. Relieved those were all behind glass. I thought you discovered them out in the wilderness initially. That's something meating that code talker in town.
I'd just like to thank you personally Justin for giving Albuquerque a good name. Old Town is basically my summer home I'm there so much. Maybe next time you are here I can give you a history tour of Old Town. 66 is still a mess because the construction hasn't stopped. Another fun fact for you my family actually settled in Bernalillo is 1520 when Coronado came to her. My family was actually pretty helpful in the founding of Albuquerque. I'm proud to say that. If you want that tour hit me up on Google+ it's the same name
thank you Justin for portraying snakes in a positive light comma they can't be beautiful creatures and they are so misunderstood. snakes want nothing to do with humans in the wild , they are just scared of us that is why they rattle. humans kill a lot more rattle snakes that rattle snakes kill humans, they have every reason to be afraid of us. if you come across the rattlesnake in the wild all you have to do is simply walk away , they will not chase you and there is absolutely no reason to ever harm them or hurt them. only a coward kills a snake!
I would love to see you do a mystery box giveaway! My dream trip has always been to go on Route 66!I am loving these videos, and your voice immitations crack me up! Keep doing what your doing!
These are awesome videos. I wish you'd consider adding, "part 1, part 2, part 3...etc." to the title of the vids. I'm following you but I went from California to New Mexico, totally bypassing Arizona. Regardless, I'm having fun following the ol'66 trail.
Wow, i just happened to be looking at the comment section when justin mentioned the tarantulas. I did not scroll up until it was over. Omg imagine if i had it on full screen! Someone would have died...
Favelize Gaming lol me too. As absolutely terrified as I would be if I came across one of these in the wild, I have to say some of them actually look kind of cute just hanging out in their cases!
Hi Justin, Love your videos. At the Rattlesnake Museum, does the owner have any show and tell times? Wrangling the snakes? or is it just strictly a look at the tank kind of museum? Anyway happy trails. Be Safe and Shleep well....
Yay, Craig Ferguson the comedic god, too many snakes for me though whew. Justin I can't believe you're afraid of tarantula's but the black widow didn't seem to bother you, granted you couldn't see it in the tank which is slightly more disconcerting. I love you, keep the good times a Rollin'. P.S., how can you stand being away from Princess Ally for so long, I would DIE !
i do find it amusing when americans find a 200 year old building amazing but given the country itself isnt that old its understandable. wonder how you would find the castle close to my home, it was built in crica 1067.
Loved the rattlers, so many dfferent types!! Route 66 got 24 mentions today,
My Deepest Gratitude, Respect and Honor to all the Navajo code talkers!!🙏🏻
Old town Albuquerque is so awesome. My brother lives there and I love all of the shops and street vendors! Also the hot air balloons are so pretty early in the morning
A Hot Air Balloon ride above the dessert would blow me away!
Louinator 59 I see what you did there lol
Suzanne Jones I love Old Town Albuquerque!!! also Chama,NM up North by the Colorado line where the old train is, they have a trip for a fee you can take in the mountains, beautiful area!!!
wow, you meeting the WWII codetalker was amazing! thanks for sharing that with us. so glad you got to meet him. i got a little misty myself 😢. be safe and happy trails! 😊
Steve Irwin taught me not to be afraid of snakes and skunks lol. God bless his soul.
I wish you came when the whole ART construction was complete. But it's soo awesome to watch this video. Makes me appreciate what's just 20 minutes from home.
So very nice you picked up R66 souvenirs to support the locals...great gesture.

Great idea! Put me down for a Route 66 mystery box! I'll stay tuned. You and Adam are the best on UA-cam!

Yes to the mystery boxes
My picture is with old man Fred! I went to that same place when I was in Albuquerque.
I live in the Philippines and our church is over 400 years old and still used daily for several mass's
justin cant remember what you film with but wow it looks amazing on a 60" 4k tv. one of the best looking vlogs on UA-cam 😀
Surprise box or grab bags sold on Ebay from your journeys would be awesome!
You're lucky it's quiet and peaceful down there because otherwise traffic is a nightmare
Well I've found a new place I need to go!
Omg I am terrified of snakes !!!!
Hi Justin!
The Power of the Cobra! lol
I'm the opposite, Justin. Spiders don't bother me, but snakes are my worst nightmares...
I'm only watching this to face my fear
Of Adventure?
Favelize Gaming lol me too. As absolutely terrified as I would be if I came across one of these in the wild, I have to say some of them actually look kind of cute just hanging out in their cases!
Melissa Hewit yeah😅 lol they're just so creepy
Favelize Gaming same here even I got close ( well not too closely ) to a rattlesnake twice but one of them is a baby

Santa Fe - go check out the old santa fe prison, they give tours!
Anyone recall him in Florida calling “I got this caaaaaaabin to myself!
Yes please
U are far braver than I..... I don't think I could have done the rattlesnake museum
Home ❤❤👌
Hi Justin, Love your videos. At the Rattlesnake Museum, does the owner have any show and tell times? Wrangling the snakes? or is it just strictly a look at the tank kind of museum? Anyway happy trails. Be Safe and Shleep well....
wish i could do this!
Mickey & Mallory Knox did it!
When I heard "And we're back" I was expecting the old Randomland theme song.... Maybe next time
You lived in Canada!??? When and where?
Reminds me of the Weird Al song :)
I have a fun idea Justin a drive down the extraterrestrial highway if you haven't already
Lol impersonating the ole statue guy love it
Is trying to preserve water quality on your land really all that radical?
I live in Albuquerque
💜💜💜
I really want to know what camera you use, I'm going to london and want to take some pictures and videos. So can I know?
You don't need to borrow a Jeep for that old highway shown at the very end. You have a rental car. Go for it!
rattlesnake vs. cobra,who would win?
oh man this was hard to watch I hate snakes and spiders!!! but I still watched it Lol cause...sometimes mob for life
Justin, a channel popped up called panda monium. There driving through Winslow, Arizona. Your on the corner filming. Take care
I went and had a look. Ha Ha.. There's Justin. COOOOLLLL !
And they didn't even stop to say hello. Some of them were well known you tubers too.
Yay, Craig Ferguson the comedic god, too many snakes for me though whew. ANYONE know what camera he is using?
I have to ask, Did you make the left or right turn in Albuquerque?
OK, no more Bugs Bunny jokes.
