- It's simple. This is the best handling RC car we've ever tested. Nothing other to do other than watch the LC Racing EMB-T run around our yard - www.banggood.com/custlink/3mD... We shall test the top speed of the EMB-T over the weekend but it's handling is simply sublime, and the performance on 2S lipo puts other RC Cars to shame, and it should take 3S...and is it the best braking RC car ever? That'd be a yes! Complete with 2 batteries and run time on full throttle of around 20mins each!

I drove my mates one at the local 1/10 track and i was shock ,it handels like a dream , we let one of the pro drivers take it for a spin and he was blown away , this car is no joke, i bought one .

I've had my truggy about a month it is a little beast. I did a shock oil change to 37.5 and offroad buggy tires. 3s!! Backflips for days!! Lol.
The smell like heaven when u open the box. I put a 550 in my Tacon ranger and thriller, I love this scale in the city

Yessir! I have one & got my wife "one" for her birthday...... I drive hers responsibly when mine is waiting for parts! Lol I added the aluminum bits & T bone bumper... one of my favorite RCs
I checked online and the differentials are all steel gears. That's very good news. A lot of these metal gear cars come with zinc gears which are really not any better than plastic gears and sometimes even worse.
My WRC version is the same! Cracking car.A few subtle differences to the buggy,one being W|RC doesnt have the metal chassis plate as standard ,seems to be more a flex is your friend kind of setup.
Glad to finally see one of these on your channel, Ritchie! I have this truggy and the 12/B1 1/12 buggy. Excellent little cars, have done both on clay track. I can confirm the truggy will go well over 55 on 3s with proper gearing. Thanks for the vid!
Will the sway bars for the 1/12 buggy fit the 1/14 truggy?
What gearing?
@@TheK20eg standard spur gear and 22T pinion, with the 2845 motor and 3s on standard truggy tires. They ballon enough to get you well up there.

@@michaelchristensen6884 , sorry, just saw this, yes, they will... pretty much every suspension, and gearbox item on these is interchangeable. The big difference is whether you have a short (1/14 buggy, 1/14 MT) chassis, mid motor chassis (1/12buggy), or long chassis (pretty much all the other small cars LC makes). Then the center drivetrain is different. Different driveshaft lengths, etc.
I've been considering picking this up from NitroRCX as the rebranded Tacon for a few years. My Mini 8eight T is a lot of fun but it has differential issues and the same motor that came in the smaller Mini 8 buggy so it's underpowered. Every channel I've watched has sworn by this LC Racing platform and it appears the Mini 8 2.0 I keep dreaming about has not come out yet so ready to pull the trigger soon...
I feel the same way, I have a mini 8ight buggy repowered with traxxas velineon 380. Tons of rpm and gpm parts. I've always loved that buggy and with all the hop ups and avc my mini 8ight is amazing but I'm too paranoid to drive it hard because of lack of parts. Just ordered this truggy with alot of confidence from all the good things I hear about it and nothing really bad at all. Parts availability seems to have been steadily good for years from what I'm told in the US so I can't wait.

I am a 63 year old kid started getting into the hobby back in march 2020 from the 80s days of the RC10 that me and my son have a lot of fun back then, The hobby is a lot better now days and I do started with Traxxas Rustler 4x4 vxl then the Maxx and the Xmaxx two 144001 just got the 124019, Arrma Big rock v3.Back in september got the EMB-1 and the EMB-T and you are correct on your comments because for some reason the EMB-T is my prefer rc to play and is good to know I am not the only one with the opinion about this car, Great video and let see how fast you can do with it. YES! Got to get myself one of these! Many have said why bother with WLTOYS if your intentions are to spend even more money on making it brushless just get one of these from the start and save all the hassle and the fact you are getting better plastics and components! I have always been against that but that's mainly due to me enjoying the tinkering side of things but this is impressive. Interested to see how fast it is ;)
good point. My first car was and is 124019.
This is literally just a 124019 chassis with brushless electrics - everything but the motor and control gear is straight 144001/124019 hardware
@@gravit8ed So you became aware of the knockoff clone first and assume it's the original or that these in anyway share the same manufacturing. They don't, they aren't even fully parts compatable. Please stop spreading misinformation.
I see the tinkering argument all the time and don't really get it. I bought the EMB-T as a kit though. I made my own battery tray (I hate the supplied one) and still bought some more option parts...mostly steering and durability related but some for bling
I do have a 144001 but so far left it stock. Mostly to hand off to anyone that would want to drive my EMB-T, not that there is anything wrong with. Oh, I just realized who you are, I'm subbed to your channel :)

I got mine from WarrenRC, Steve's prices are similar, better on many things than RipTide. Right now some things are still out of stock because of Chinese New Year.

I thought he had to mean the losi mini 8ight . I have the losi mini-t, there really isnt much to compare beyond they are rc cars but the 8ight have some similar design features
you could get a slash and a bunch of upgrades for this or a nimh and charger
Or a 3s arrma and the list goes on. There will always be alternatives this wouldn’t be a good hobby if they weren’t

@NOTREALLY HANKAARON wltoys brushed are not slow to a normal person. 30 plus on 2s..my first car i built was an rc10 35 years ago cost me $400 for everything.went 24 mph..i picked up a wltoys rtr 144001 for $70 to my door and it smokes my rc10 on every level ... and nothing has broke yet... all this stuff is made in china by the way...LC ,wltoys etc... if the screws upset you change them...

@NOTREALLY HANKAARON Gotcha. That's what happens when you make assumptions about someone else on the internet lol. A 25mph electric buggy back then would have been running about as fast as you could get and you'd be lucky to get 5 minutes of runtime.

What's the biggest 3s battery this can hold?
I would say it's comfortable with a 2200mah 3s pack, a 2700 will fit at a push but not hold in well. 2200 will be fine. Hope that helps. That said it's so light 2200mah lasts forever

It's kind of like a 124019 on steriods.
It is EXACTLY a 124019 just with a brushless setup. It is literally a stock 019 right up until you get the tohe motor/esc. This is one of the companies that takes the WL stock and slaps a better motor in it for a 'premium' cost.

LC racing EMB-T makes 124019 brushless conversions a bit pointless. EMB is about the same money and far far better.
How good can this thing actually be when the receiver is completely exposed. How much could a plastic water proof/resistant box for this thing be? One big puddle and it is done. It’s nice to drive when it is completely dry but that is not reality.
Noted but this screams race track although you raise pretty good points on the lack of waterproofing
I've just been burned by non name brand RC vehicles... so hesitant to try anything other than Traxxas, Arma, Axial, etc

This is not a Rolls Royce version of WLTOYS. WLTOYS is a cheap knock off of this. LC Racing was first.

I bash associated products and losi is a basher line now tlr is the racing. No one was talking about racing. Tekno mt410 is a basher monster truck. Associated and losi make rtr's too. Your not buying a race car your buying quality and years and years of experience. People here those names amd think race car but while that's true that's also farthest from the truth.
The rolls Royce of these cars is 1/10 competition cars. This truggy looks great but it’s still far from rolls Royce. Have you ever driven a real truggy? I doubt it
