Currently in my final year and I have so many thoughts. I keep worrying about falling below a 2.1 even though I’m prioritising uni work over everything. My dissertation is finally coming together after I changed my topic! My best friend passed away last week though, so I had to get a few extensions.
So lovely to have a catch up from you Rosie! So nice to see that genuineness again as well. :). You have had an incredible opportunity that many others can only ever dream of but you have made sure to keep it realistic and down-to-earth throughout and that is why we adore you!!!! We remain so proud of you and honestly, honestly hope you will get to move on to Cranfield and get that qualification to move you into your professional future! So authentically happy to see you again- with the Jade merch as well (she is doing well in SF but I imagine is touched to see everyone happily wearing her fashions)!! MASSIVE HUGS, Rose, Karsten and Ariadne
I would do History & Politics at Cambridge. The course covers every aspect possible from the ancient greeks to Hegel. The reading lists are extensive and publicly available. Oxford or Cambridge doesn't matter, they are the best in the country for a reason
I don’t know how I came cross this channel lol I had my undergraduate and postgraduate in the UK, and my conclusion with regard of Tutors in general is this ( the older the tutor the better ) What I mean by this is that it seems to me the older generations in the academic sector has more sense toward student and they keep working hard to make sure that students are getting the education as it supposes to be !
I know this is an old video but this time last year I binge watched your videos. I didn’t realise how badly I wanted to get into oxford and the rejection still hurts me now. It’s the end of my first year at a different uni and I still feel like a failure. I don’t know what to do when my self worth is entangled in the idea of Oxford. I really wish that I got in
I chose not to go to oxford because I suffer badly with CFS and I knew that they would not be sympathetic or supportive. I went to York instead and they have been so so understanding and made lots of provisions and extensions for me :) it’s a shame because oxford just isn’t accessible for many disabled students because they won’t make the allowances you need
I'm glad you're happy where you are! That's not necessarily true though, one of my friends is blind & she receives lots of help from the disability advisory service attached to the university. I also know several autistic studnets and many students with dyslexia and ADHD.
Rosie Crawford I’m so glad they’ve had help! Maybe it was the college I looked at? They were just like ‘doesn’t really sound like you’re cut out for oxford’ and I was like 😅 okay then
It's meant to be to help us get our work load done but honestly it just assumes that everyone is funded anyway & won't be under money stress. Not good! Thankyou!!
Hi I have a couple of videos where I read out my personal statement and break it down if they would help? Should just be able to search Rosie Crawford personal statement

@@Pineapple_pizza64 gosh I'm really sorry you had that experience!
I have severe migraines that are stress induced, I was going to apply to Oxford but I think I would have to drop out from it if I got in.
I can't understand that Oxford tells students not to work during your degree, the height of arrogance. Congratulations on your graduation. ☺☺☺

I want to study Archaeology and Anthropology at oxford in a couple years!! What did you put on your applications that pertained to the subject?
