Get To Work was made with Sims 2-3 pack standards and thats why it is so outstandimg compared to other (early) Sims 4 packs. Sims 2 and Sims 3 packs used to include an occult in EVERY SINGLE EP and in the sims 4 GTW followed this trend then they change it…

I desperately want Life & Death because I'm a spooky bitch, but I have to wait until after Christmas to get it. In the meantime, I bought Get To Work for $15 and it's fine, but... I can't wait to see what you rank it because I see SO MANY people say it's awesome, but I feel a bit off about spending even $15 on it.
I’d say it’s like seasons once you’ve seen it once you’ve seen it all the careers are very monotonous but if you like that kind of gameplay then I recommend it
@@Raphaeltheslayer I love Seasons and even Pets 🤣 I like playing the Vet with my super Sims and I also like aliens and the idea of being abducted, so I think I just need to look into the gameplay.
I'm going to be honest: the only fun career (out of the three the pack comes with) is the scientist one - and even that one gets monotonous after a while. The other thing you may like is the retail system as it would allow you to make a spooky shop or smth. Basically, you could sell almost anything. Other than that... Frankly, it's a decent pack for how old it is.
@ hmm yeah, I was just looking up that career and it’s the most in depth compared to the others. The only expansion pack I desperately want is Life & Death and the others are meh to me, so though I might not be completely with Get To Work after a while, it is what it is 😆 Lesson learned!
@@meh9677 I like get to work too, but I feel its repetitive some times. If it had a bit more complexity it would be more fun. LIke imagine play mini games to decipher murder clues, or if we had burglers that could invade our sims house. Or system that sims could get sick and they need to visit the doctor to cure, not just a magic potion to heal everything. Its a good pack but could be even better.
The fact you're willing to directly compare Sims 4 packs not just to other Sims 4 packs, but to past games DLCs and different games like Stardew Valley, sets you apart from other people making Sims 4 pack tier list videos. I agree that even if Cottage Living's good for a Sims 4 pack you should buy Stardew Valley instead
17:54 the way you spoke about not needing weather in the sims instantly made me think of Trisha Paytas saying "we don't need gravity" I'm so sorry 😭😭😭🙏
The new bucket list feature includes one for being part of a club so it ended up renewing my interest in club activities. The downside is that new pack features don't often get added as club events so you have to find custom content that adds them.
For Rent should be lower because of the bugs. It's still corrupting people's saves to this day. It's unconscionable that EA is selling it in this state.
Hell is other people... or Taylor Swift and Lovestruck 😂 also as a note you can actually replace the high school with builds from the gallery or your own! First thing I do when starting a new save haha
Wholeheartedly agree with the ranking of some packs, and firmly disagree with others. Examples: For Rent is awful. Even you (who liked it) were struggling to say positive things about it. The world is so shallow for an EP. The gameplay is broken and, as of right now, beyond repair. It is the pack I use the least (with Lovestruck 😂) because I am so tired of the bugs. But I disagree about Horse Ranch: it is one of the packs I use the most (with the Cottage Living, I love creating farmers and taking care of a farm/ranch). Even though I would prefer to really compete instead of entering a rabbit hole, it is not the worst one. I like making nectar, taking care of little sheep and goats and managing full-time a ranch. I think Horse Ranch is even less buggy right now than Cottage Living: the Finchwick Fair keeps failing to give me ribbons (I will never collect the pie one), I keep wondering what happened to the OG NPCs (with the exception of the Chopras, all of them just vanished and were substituted. If they died, where are their graves?)... even the foxes and rabbits are bugged, though I love to play with them. But I see your point: without Cottage Living it might not be as fun. Also, my NPCs sometimes disappear (though not like the Cottage Living ones). Tbf I think much is about taste: you clearly love playing in the city and with famous and I almost always disable that option because it is not realistic. Unless I want them to have a job in the spotlight (or a hobby), it just doesn't make sense. I never used the Hollywood-type neighbourhood either. It looks pretty shallow and the awards ceremonies are still bugged. A pack that I wish that was updated was Discover University. We have all these new professions... and if we want to enter one AFTER a degree, we don't even know to which degree a job needs! Some are intuitive, some are not. Like Death and Letters & Literature? Wtf 😂😂😂 And I just MISS Sims 2 University. I miss the fraternity parties and the animations... I really miss the experience. Now it is just bland.
11:00 That's not true? Pollution and recycling are apart of all worlds when you have that pack, most of the areas are neutral except for Cottage Living which is all green (Honestly I think City Living should've been Polluted or something)
Here I was thinking that the set-up was intentional and I actually thought it looked nice for a change and then you go on a rant about how much you hate it😭
Those titles for the chart are pretty funny. Lovestruck is on my permanent «Do Not Get Ever, Even If I Get Paid To Get It» list, right next to Journey to Batuu and High School Years. For Rent... Only if I get it for free. Same for Horse Ranch. Growing Together... Why does helping your kids do their homework, complete a school project or read them a book trigger a prompt for a «Strict» family dynamics ? High School Years... Final exam every week can be understandable on short life span, but, if not, should ONLY triggers when the teen is less than 4 days from aging up, then, that teen should no longer get to attend school as he have completed high school. Snowy Escape : Since I got it, my Sims went to the slopes exactly ONCE, and twice in the low lands. Eco Lifestyle : The action plans should have a set duration. In no other world did I see that many random trash plants popping up everywhere, including areas that are totally impossible to reach by any mean. Discover University student residences, or where your Sims should NOT live when attending the university. Living in the village of Britchester is OK, just NOT on campus. Get Famous : Judith Ward is now dead and her ghost passed away🎉🎆🎊🎉🎉🎊🎆🎆🎆🎆 Cats & Dogs... With this one, you need the Selectable Pets Always mod that allow you to select and actively control your pets. Then, the Pets Everywhere mod that allow pets to spawn in every worlds is a nice addition. There is also a mod that allow kids to walk the dog. So, yes, a pack that require at least 2 mods to be worth it. Seasons should be base game, NOT a pack. Those electronics that are INTENDED for outdoors use need to be waterproof, or, at the very least, have a waterproofing improvement available. Also, some world should NOT have the same seasons. Sulani, for example, should have the Hot & Dry season, and the Rainy & Mild season. Get Together's premade clubs are pretty lame. BUT, you can easily create some pretty wild ones. Woohoo club anyone ? Or a sleeping club ? Or a Mean Club where you have to perform only mean activities with everyone ? I like the DJ stations. Get to Work : I LOVE the live careers. Bring that cloning machine and satellite antenna back home. Have a holiday with a «have peoples eat» tradition ? Use the antenna to make everyone very hungry. Island Living... Only for the world and some build items.

6,5 inch is 16,51 cm, that is bigger than average which is 13.12 cm (5.17 inch). For anyone interested 😆
Even as a straight girl myself Satch, we can agree on that 6.5 inch being up there as one of the tiers 🤣
I hate when a dlc has really good assets and horrible gameplay. That way I can't even buy it for bb stuff because it'll mess up my game completely.
Your videos always crack me up please never stop. The names alone were enough to make me blow air out my nose.
the tier names are so good

The colors should be switched, red at the bottom and green at the top
taylor swift fans about to cancel you on twitter.

u started ranking the expansion packs by their 🐓 sizes and i stopped worrying.
