I have an extra advice for water! Some cities have chloramine in their water instead of chlorine, which doesn’t evaporate when its left out. Make sure to check your city’s website if any viewers are wanting to get the beetles!
Those broken clay pots make excellent hides for invertebrates or reptiles that are not too big. I used to give my Beatles Raw yam or sweet potato shaved with the peeler for its high nutritional content and source of water.

How much did this all cost im thinking about getting one
I already had the terrarium, clean dirt, gravel, and disinfected leaves, but the little pottery I use for hides came from a dollar store iirc.
The grape wood was a bit expensive, they don’t need it by any means, but they do climb. The insects themselves are by far the most expensive part, since they don’t breed well (or by any means quickly) in captivity, and are almost entirely wild collected. Bugsincyberspace.com is a great trustworthy place to get them, but there are tons of less expensive beetles that’re basically the same.
Blue death feigning beetles live for a vEry long time for insects, so that’s a great plus, but Zophobas morio (superworms) are even bigger and basically free. They just smell awful when they’re scared instead of pretending to diE.
But if you’d rather splurge on the blue beetles, you can definitely save a lot of money by keeping them in a plastic tub instead of a glass terrarium!

@@TplaysStewart I've been thinking about those too! Their smaller, flatter size makes them a bit more difficult to pick up, but if you're more for just watching them they're just as good as the blus!
