Regarding our recent chat about bail-less Centaure reels, I've seen quite a few sawed-off conversions, but this one looks like it could be the real deal, as the bail swing mechanism appears to be absent. I'm inclined to think that a sawed off might not ber that efficient as the roller end of the arm is very tight to the spool in the closed position. What do yo think? Regards. Raymondo.
Hi Raymondo, That would be awesome if it is the real deal. I personally haven't seen one but would imagine there may be some out there.
