Why do you add your channel's name in the title of the video? You don't need to do that. Only people who have no social media skills do this. Great video though.

Happy to have had this older vid find its way to my feed. REALLY nice to see a bunch of regular rigs out having fun on a cool trail. It showcasing the East, with our nemesis, mud, is a HUGE bonus. Far too many West Coast focused videos.

A friend and I are starting to outfit a gen3 4runner and a 2010 Tacoma. We are setting out for AZ over spring break from Nashville for what looks to be a 2 week excursion. This is all new to us and we've been prepping our toyotas since the new year with a Sonoran Steel 3" and 285's. Our roof top tents should be here within 2 weeks and we've been adding some ancillary equipment here and there.

IMHO the only regions of America worth moving halfway around the world for are the North West-ish region(Wyoming, Dakota's, Idaho, Montana, Washington) and Alaska.
The reason I say this is because though there are some good long trails throughout the rest of the country, they're few and far between. It's difficult to find a quality multi-day, several hundred mile expeditions in these more populated areas. For example I live in Northern New England, specifically New Hampshire. And as rural as it is up here, the only decent areas around for true overlanding are in Northern Maine. Forests are simply too thick for old logging trails to preserve long, and local laws make it difficult to 4x4 anyway.
Alaska and the North Western states I mentioned are really where you would want to be. And be prepared for a muuuuuch different climate than the Outback! Good luck if you come!
Have you ever met Ronny Dahl out there?!

Jeeps of today are a far cry from the days of Willys jeeps. And the Willys were comparable to tractors like most Military vehicles of its day. Not a bad thing by the way just new trucks have come a long way and can be far more capable than their military brethren.
