Water leaving the drain goes down to the "pinch weld" on the spyder. Same as you explained it does on the Miata.

The proper way is to pop the vents off without all the extra work. It helps to know where the clips are, so your video helps! My rule is if I wash the car and there is water after 24 hours, time to clean the drain.

Would have been good to show in detail how you mounted the undertray, good info overall i still have a wonky side scoop because i didnt know what i was doing and i got a hardtop to stop the water issue. The beatrush stuff is beautiful hope you keep the mrs 😊

I use a 10mm star wrench to loosen the plastic clips... It's super easy. 👨‍🔧🇩🇰. MR2 TTE owner from Denmark.

What is the width of the rear undertray? My 2003 MR2 has dual exhaust and I'm wondering if it will fit between them.

i wish i caught mine earlier. ended up having to steam vac the entire passenger side to clean up the mold. damn these bay area “atmospheric rivers”
