Not only for it's amazing atmosphere but also for the quality of football shown in this match as well as the fierce rivalry between the north and south of Portugal. It is indeed a unique match to watch live in the beautiful "Estádio da Luz" aka "the cathedral". This match is not very well advertised in europe but diserves far more attention.

It's an amazing experience seeing a match between these two. I went to a game a few years ago, it ended 2-2 and there wasn't any crowd trouble at all when the fans celebrated the goals. I was really impressed with it as fans are usually twats back in England

It it such a massive derby in Greece and everyone talks about it! It's also a recognised derby in Europe and like you mentioned it is a rivalry that divide a whole country

yes they are,but htye can recover footage of the derbies...man this derbies was not just about a city it was about religions 2.and i have been to many games even in Premier league and in Camp Nou etc and the best stadium i have ever been is Celtic's one.Amazing atmosphere.
Yeah i understand what you mean but then Eli won't have much to do. He'll only be able to go around and interview people and make human interest story which is also coo, I mean he can show us footage and all.. but he won't be able to really taste the atmosphere himself and describe that to us.
