Thomas Tate, Julian Jackson Interview: "I Couldn't Give Emanuel Steward Half My Money"

I have the utmost respect for Emanuel Steward. We interviewed him once for this channel and I will always treasure that experience and the Kronk gym shirt (which I wear in most of my vids now) he gave to me and to my brother.
Still he took half of what a fighter earned. Fair? Not fair? On the one hand, trainers do often get overlooked despite the work they do, but on the other the fighter is risking everything for real and while a trainer can train other guys a fighter can't have another career.
Is it worth it to give that up and would you make a ton more with a legend in your corner so 50% of a huge pie is way more than 100% of a small one?
