These are great steps! A few months ago I cleaned up my email inbox and unsubscribed from so many different companies and it’s amazing to see how much of a distraction they were and how there was always a sale going on that pulled me in. I haven’t been tempted to buy clothes I don’t need and now know there will always be a discount when I’m ready to make a purchase. I’ve also come to enjoy the peace and quiet in my inbox and as soon as I see a marketing email I didn’t sign up for I immediately unsubscribe.
Exactly! It helps me be so much more intentional - like you said, when you are ready to buy, there will always be sales, discount codes, Rakuten, etc waiting for you when you're ready and you truly need the item!
I think it's smart to consider a low buy if a no buy seems too extreme. Every little bit helps. I'm planning on cutting my spending way back this year too.
I’m trying a no-buy month for January. I get paid 3 times in January so my hope is to use all the money saved toward a 3 week trip to Europe in the summer. I’m still allowing my coffee purchases though. Basically just no buy on any sort of physical “things”. And I’ll be using up things in my pantry and freezer too.
Have you ever done a low or no buy challenge? 💸

Yess every little bit helps 👏
This popped up in my recommended, and I love your realistic approach to it. Thank you!

Love it! Can't wait to hear how it goes, and that's so exciting, a 3-week vacay to Europe sounds like a dream 😍
