I don't think I'll get to videos on these topics soon (still working on more statistics videos) but for the nature/nurture perception question the answer is certainly an interaction of both, as we are born with certain sensory abilities (nature), but we must learn how to organize the information they provide, and this requires experience and thus a role for culture and our environment (nurture).
