    Everybody has that first song that they played and played, this was mine. I never get fed up of it and it still gets me singing along

    I always thought he was an absolutely beautiful fox and was shocked when I saw him on the TV a short while before his death. Yeah, like age is not changing me too. He had a serious interest in the music of the world. How I loved this beautiful man.

    I was there when this was filmed, it was at Birmingham City football stadium UK. Also performing were alaap, the pogues and ofcourse UB40. I believe there was a film made of the concert called 'UB40 sings the Blues' (blues is the nickname of Birmingham City FC).

    Sharper suits than Ferry, better looking than Bowie and left both in his wake as a singer. Pity he didn't do more stuff with UB40, match made in heaven

    Dony Wynn is the drummer here. But as for the original studio recording, it was Tony Thompson. Nevertheless, both awesome drummers.

    too bad, great voice...nice range...but check out the circles under his eyes and the pained look...no joy...classic RX drug face....I know...too bad

      Amazed you can see that well in 240!!
      Robert smoked about 3-4 packs of cigarettes a day...I was thinking he looked more winded than high...but very possible!
