I can't believe they pulled off the Scarlet Witch costume. It's now officially the coolest superhero outfit out there.....
Much better than the comics costume IMHO.
Whether or not she’s a villain or is going to become one, I think Scarlet Witch is the all-around coolest character I’ve seen in the MCU thus far.

Exactly. She was asked in an interview if there was someone cast on the show that had not been spoiled and she just said "Yes", and that she was excited for people to see the show. The Luke level cameo BS was completely made up.
@@seantds619 That was just something they took from Modern Family which was the show that episode was loosely based on. Shows like MF, The Office, and Parks & Rec that used the pseudo documentary premise never show the interviewer. That's why Wanda is surprised when she is asked a question and she replies "You're not supposed to do that"

The show turned out to be way more about character development than MCU world building, which in retrospect I'm much happier about.

I agree. Like we've had MCU world-building for the entire Infinity Saga. This entire show was completely different from anything Marvel has done before and even though it wasn't super action-based it's probably the highest quality thing they've produced so taking the time to really hone in on the characters was awesome
I'm fine with that. We still don't know how the Disney plus shows will be. Earth shattering or character building and bread crumb dropping. I'm leading more towards character building. Can't have the movies and TV shows be earth shattering every time. That wears thin eventually

Fietro's "real" name, screams witness protection. I think that's what was implied, but I have no ideas what that could mean going forward.

We all like him and want Quicksilver back in our lives. He had real powers like Monica, and he was a real person. Maybe he will turn out to have kept them, like Monica did.
Jimmy didn't recognize him when he was watching the show with Darcy. So he's not Jimmy's witness.

It's a bit of a reach, but, when Jimmy was talking about his Guy, he mentioned his family and assosiates didn't remember him or something.
Although Jimmy seemed to be less affected by the hex at the time, it is possible his perception was "altered". WP would also explain why the individual wasn't identified.
Something about the chuckle at the sound of his name, seemed like it was implying, this was a name picked as a joke.
One of the reasons I generally don't like magic in comics, unless it's specifically fantasy, is that it can be used to explain anything.
It's been done well so far I have to say, time will tell.

They relocate them, givie them a new name and background history. This is done in order to protect the witness from retaliation from the criminal or criminal organizations they are testifying against, it's usually a powerful and violent criminal organization like drug cartels and organized crime.

Next week, a week before Falcon and the Winter Soldier premieres, a Marvel series called "Assembled" will premiere, March 12, basically a behind-the-scenes documentary series. The first episode will be the behind-the-scenes of WandaVision, so a cool time to check out how the cast and crew made WandaVision awesome before jumping into Falcon and the Winter Soldier a week later.
See this is what I like about you guys showing actual genuine emotion and tears instead of joking or whatever through the heart-wrenching scenes. That's what I love I might soon become a patreon if you keep this up 😎😎 well that and maybe add some God tier anime to your list of things you react to like attack on Titan and Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood. I know you would get a whole bunch of patreons for that anime content alone and I know you would love those stories. Just food for thought keep up the great work
This reaction was the best of excitement and tears. Also, the side comments made me laugh for a solid minute. Loved the soul vs. mind interaction of vision's counterparts. Loved the goodbye between Wanda and Vision. Glad to see the theory of the Darkhold was correct and I was surprised to see that the Sorcerer Supreme was named dropped.
This show was fantastic. I got caught up in the fan theories too, but it didn’t take away from how amazing this story was. You are correct...we as fans need to manage our expectations better. This wasn’t an “End Game” type event. This was a show...a fantastic show but a show none the less. This was a great kickstart to this next Marvel phase

I believe missing person that Wu looking for, was Ralph Bonher. When Monica says his name he chuckles at his name, so I’m thinking it was given to him like a witness protection program. He also was Ralph that Agnes used to mention as her husband but she kept him in a rabbit form that’s why we never saw him in a Westview. I have a feeling we’ll see him again in some MCU storylines and it will revealed who he really is.
WandaVision is one of my top 5 things Marvel has ever done. Loved watching your reactions along the way guys!

When Wanda was reading the book it was like Dr Strange studying while sleeping using his Astral form.
The Luke level cameo is Billy given his prominence in comics at this point getting to see him use even a fraction of his powers for actual superhero stuff was phenomenal in this episode. Also, Elizabeth Olsen is one of Billy's number one fans. So, it makes sense. Lastly, the darkhold was written by chthon, who is the source of Wanda's greatest weakness other than her family. Absolutely thrilled I was wrong about this show, BTW! Now they're just going to have to explain the kids appearing in the movies all grown up only to the people who watch the movies in theaters
A few easy but powerful takeaways from this episode:
1) "Null" Vision is wondering about (previously White Vision, but now with memories of Vision 2.0)
2) MORE POWERFUL TAN THE SORCERER SUPREME confirmed for MCU
3) Monica should be fully trained by the time the next Capt Marvel movie comes around
4) Agatha is still alive
5) THAT BOMB ASS OUTFIT

I think you guys covered the whole spoilers/hints/actor comments pretty well. A lot of fans set themselves up to be disappointed by this just because the nerd fandom is too wild. Luckily not as rabid as Star Wars. But if nothing else, the mysterious rumors only served to help throw us off the scent, and in the end I think I appreciate that. Even if I would have loved to see magneto or someone appear. I’d rather they tie up loose ends in a cohesive sensible manner than pander to fan theories in the end. Overall, well done to marvel making me care deeply about two previously tangential avengers. I’m ready for them to do that again for me with Falcon and Winter Soldier. my expectations are high, but the slate is blank and I’m excited.

My jaw dropped seeing Wanda BECOME the scarlet witch. EPIC! I also cried just like Jay did (and Adam, but I was more full crying tears like jay haha), we are sooooo commited to this show and this universe and we are so proud of it aren’t we ?!;)))
There’s close up pics online of Wanda’s headpiece, the middle looks SO MUCH like magneto’s helmet it can’t be a coincidence!
Side note: since I live in Alberta Canada, the final end credit mountains scene had me MOMENTARILY thinking wolverine for obvious reasons lol but upon investigating its most likely Wundagore Mountain...Chthon ....

In case the setups need more context of the post credits, the first is a setup for Captain Marvel 2 and Secret Invasion. The second is literally a prelude to Multiverse Of Madness. I wonder if Strange will learn about Westview if Mordo tracks down Agatha to kill her (as we last left off that story thread with Mordo in a serial killing mood) to start off that film.

He didn't download himself into white vision, he unlocked white vision's stored memories. The white vision is the real vision.same vision from age of ultron, civil war and infinity war! He has basically been brought back online and rebooted sans emotions and memories until the hex vision unlocked them. He has his memories back but not his emotions which came from the mind stone.he has an arc reactor in his forehead not the stone now.
Both Wand and Vision did superhero landings in this episode.
They need to bring in the Men in Black to blank the whole town's memories.

I love the sort of Sauron like allusion with the full development of Wanda becoming the Scarlet Witch. That was my favorite shot of the entire series. As good of a finale as this was though nothing is going to beat episode 8s pure emotion rollercoaster ride. I was pretty much ugly crying from start to finish.
If it wasn't Evan Peters then we would not have put any weight behind the character pretending to be Pietro. If it was ATJ then we would be pissed that a random Westview resident looks exactly like her brother.
This is a very, very good point.
As I see it, Quicksilver was not dismissed. All exposition came from Monica, ASSUMING that it is his house, that the FUNNY name under his picture must be his. Quicksilver just laughed, satisfied about the funny caption he wrote under his picture, while he was locked up in his room all the time. He never confirmed any of Monica's theories. He is acting like the bored mischief maker from his introduction in the X-Man franchise.
Feel like Hayward was underwritten - a flashback showing him dealing with the horror of the snap for example would have served his character/motivation a lot more and added to the overall show! And who doesn't enjoy a talk about identity metaphysics as the resolution to a superhero fight instead of the usual knock-down drag-out free for all?!
That outfit reveal was fire can't believe how great it turned out 😍

That's probably exactly what Marvel was thinking when they were casting Evan's.
Now that Tony's dead, Wanda's filling in as the role of Avenger who causes misery to everyone and just kinda walks off afterwards.

Hex Vision doing Vision thing. Stop the fight and just having a poetic talk with White Vision.
So when Olsen said there was gonna be a “Luke Level Reveal”- that doesn’t necessarily imply that it was gonna be a “cameo”- you guys are assuming that because the Mandalorian revealed a person, then this show would also.
HOWEVER- with Mephisto living in in an alternate dimension, and voices of her kids being heard only AFTER she reads the Book of the Damned, immediately opens the multiverse and that was probably the Luke Level Reveal- the realization that the kids didn’t come from her like Vision did. And like the comics, the kids returned to him in his alternate dimension. Maybe he had been patiently waiting for her to reveal herself as the Scarlet Witch and learn about the Darkhold and to start reading it for him to begin actively calling out to her.
I also think that perhaps Agatha, who has been actively researching the book for maybe centuries, was whispered to, by him, to seek out Wanda and expose her to the book- which would make Agatha a pawn (involuntarily or not?).
Agatha does help Wanda in the comics in various ways upon the revelation that the kids were from him. She’s still back in Westview. It might be that Wanda’s next move is to seek her out again for answers.
I can see how some would say that’s still not a Luke level revelation, but if Mephisto is the next big bad like Thanos, then this is pretty big.
And you could tell at that last moment hearing her she was colossally pissed.
Also- cheers for her ability to astral project like Dr Strange!
I think her reading the Darkhold could either make her a villain, or help her realize her true enemy (I think Mephisto). In either case, she’s gonna have to deal with Strange about that book.
Also, I know there was some walk back from Marvel Studios about Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness being the MCU’s first horror film, however, if they do end up going to Mephisto’s realm, there is still likely to be horrific elemental tropes, it just won’t be a true horror film.
Edit- I actually didn’t see the clickbait about Olsen and the Luke Level reveal headline, so was only basing that portion of my comment on what the boys were saying- but all the other stuff I think is highly plausible and I’m here for it 😌

I don't think he downloaded himself into the White Vision, he activated the memories that were already in that body, which S.W.O.R.D. couldn't fully overwrite with new programming. It's an important distinction in this way: it means that the White Vision has all of Vision's memories right up until the end of Infinity War. He doesn't have any of the memories of the Chaos-magic induced Vision's life in the Hex, his family, or domestic bliss.
The Bamboozle of quicksilver reminds me of The Mandarin in Iron Man 3, both revealed to be actors.
But about the mandarin, threre was a short movie “all hail the king” that confirmed there is a real mandarin

Here's the crazy bit - half of Westview had only been back in existence for 3 weeks when they got snatched up into Wanda's universe. They didn't even have time to cope with being gone - and the other half didn't have time to cope with them being back. And then....mind ****ed.
i think an interviewer asked elizabeth "is there a luke skywalker level surprise in WandaVision" before the evan peters reveal, she didn't actually say there was a skywalker level reveal she just said something like "i would say there is"
100% fan theories set expectations higher than the show production anticipated, and that's on us, not them. It makes complete sense for a show called WandaVision to focus on the story of Wanda and Vision, and Marvel should keep the super-mega reveals for the movies. All in all 10/10 series I had a blast watching it and also had a huge emotional reaction to the final episode
So just to be clear lol, white vision IS NOT the vision we’ve back to life and he’s just how he was before infinity war, this is a completely different person that has the memories of the past vision. This is exactly how it was portrayed in comics. He may look and sound and remember what vision did but as far as this vision is concerned, he is a new character, a reset with no emotional attachment to Wanda or the kids.

I know it's a small thing but when Monica jumps in front of the bullets it looks really awkward. She had to cross a lot of ground and it just seems like they could've maybe put the kids closer and gone a bit tighter so she when she stepped in it didn't look like she lurched into frame like Darth Vader when he took his first steps in Revenge of The Sith.
My main complaint with Ralph isn't the bait and switch but the fact that the end credits scene in ep7 set up a conflict between him and Monica and he seemed to just turn his powers off so Monica could win because his time in the show was over rather than Monica using her powers to negate his.
Hell.... reading the Darkhold is always a bad idea. Last time it turned an LMD lady into Madame Hydra.

wanda is studying the darkhold, there is a chance mephisto is getting her attention cause it is the book of hell and it was made in the dark dimension and she heard her children's noises and speed and wiccan are a part of the soul of mephisto.
It’s been the better part of a decade since Marvel’s cinematic universe had to placate a portion of the fandom over how the Mandarin was handled in ‘Iron Man 3’. It’s the reason why the one-shot ‘All Hail the King’ was made.
Marvel didn’t have to win back goodwill from their fans with ‘WandaVision’, so it didn’t need to have an equivalent of a Luke Skywalker cameo appearance.
I’m quite happy with ‘WandaVision’ telling its own story and not getting drowned in Easter eggs and connective tissue references (which was the trouble that plagued ‘Iron Man 2’).

Evan Peters could still be someone else. Ralph Bohner is the identity set by the hex for him. He became Fietro because of Agatha's necklace. Once the necklace is gone, he's not under Agatha anymore but still in the hex. Not who he really is outside of it.

I think everyone is failing to talk about how if elizabeth olsen was referring to a huge cameo that it was probably the skrulls.

So, just like there was room left in the previous continuity to retcon Wanda's powers from being imbued by the mind stone to being innate-but-boosted by the mind stone, I think Marvel's left themselves an Out here.
When we see Ralph Bohner's head shot and utility bill, we're still within the active Hex. There's every possibility that "Ralph" was his Hex identity, and not his real identity. We never saw any indication of a real identity for anyone else within the Hex. So it's still *possible* that he's Quicksilver from the X-verse (or something along those lines), with an overlaid Ralph personality by Wanda, under the control of Agatha. Many people are currently assuming that the powers came from his necklace, but I think it's possible that the necklace was just to control him and his speed powers were innate.
I guess we'll see as Phase 4 progresses. :)

Fans always forget that Wandavision connects to Spider-man No Way Home then that connects Dr. Strange 2 and the Multiverse of Madness and we no this because Dr. Strange is in Spider-man
