When someone mentions the "queen" my mind immediately goes to the late queen and not Camilla. Anyone else or just me??

I hope that King Charles and Prince Andrew can come up with an agreement that suits them both, with an amicable resolution. I quite like the idea of him moving into another residence with some allowance, that seems like a good solution to me. Three times a week for your broadcasts seems delightful, I always love all of your videos; the ones on your own and the ones with Matt!

I can’t imagine living in a palatial house like that without a family- it just feels like it would be lonely. I know we can get attached to houses but I just don’t get wanting to be in a huge empty one. 🤷🏻♀️

So the only need to move Andrew out would be to move William's family in. (?) That answers my question: Does this situation change when Wm becomes king. No. Wm wouldn't be moving in at that point, so Andrew still could stay, unchallenged with his lease. So the only reason left I can see to regain Royal Lodge would be to eventually allocate homes for George, Charlotte, and Louie within protected grounds. And, really, that doesn't seem as if it needs to be rushed. I think the least amount of turmoil over Royal Lodge is to quietly let Andrew live out his life/lease. If the lease is not inheritable, towards the end of his life, I can imagine Andrew might become agreeable to having the lease bought out so he could leave the cash to his girls.
The other thing I wonder is whether any of Sarah's income goes towards upkeep of Royal Lodge, or just towards the family's needs. Is there concern to regain Royal Lodge out of concern for Sarah's health? Might the Lodge be at greater risk to deteriorate without Sarah's income? If that's not a looming factor, again, I'd just let Andrew live out his life/lease.
Thank you for bringing sanity to this conversation because i am tired of hearing about it. People just need to mind their business and leave Andrew alone because he is bothering no one! I think he should honor the Queen's wishes where it comes to Andrew! The Media is always messy!
No, the smallest Wales (Cambridges then) resident was Nottingham Cottage. And little George too. But it was too small for a single Harry!!! 😢

Andrew is complicated. Legally, he's an innocent man but he's convicted by social media so being a working Royal is out. He probably feels that his job and lifestyle has been taken away and now they want his home of over 20 years. I would imagine that hurts. People complain that only he and Sarah live there but for 50+ years only the Queen Mother lived in Royal Lodge. After their divorce, Andrew spent millions getting Sarah out of one financial disaster after another so it's right that Sarah returns the support. I thought that the Waleses wanted a smaller place so they could live more normal than in a huge mansion so why would they want Royal Lodge? Financial and optics are good reasons for Andrew to downsize but I'm not sure anyone really wants to move. A good carrot for Andrew would be a job maybe on one of the private estates. He's youngish and has a lot of pride so getting a meaningful job would help him. There might be some public grumbling from certain people but the majority of people would get it.
Do we even know if this story is true? It's the press that keeps harping on this. The press seems to want Andrew out of royal lodge and won't shut up about it.
We don't know how much money Andrew has. It's quite possible that he has inherited money. I also don't know why the King would want Andrew out of royal lodge. Do William and Catherine really want the place? It seems to me that they're happy where they are.
Beatrice and Edo purchased a 6 bedroom home in the Cotswolds about a year or so ago, so, they've got their own home and Eugenie and Jack are still living in Ivy Cottage at Kensington palace (as well as having a place in Portugal too).
It just seems to me that the press is trying to go after Andrew again and make him look bad again.

This is all so disingenuous with the bruhaha about where Princes Andrew and William will live. Why is KC3 evicting rightful occupants from properties they are/were legally appointed?
If there is a justified reason for Pr Andrew to vacate his home, then so be it. Adelaide Cottage was good enough for the Prince of Wales’ family, then it ought to be more than adequate for Pr Andrew.
If Pr Andrew goes, then he ought to get a legally binding agreement that amounts to the 75 yrs. Then Prince Harry should have Frogmore Cottage returned to him. That too can have an agreement stating something like:
Upon Prince Harry’s death it returns to the Crown estates.
However, it’s time for the PM or someone at 10 Dowling to ask what ails KC3.

What about swapping Royal Lodge for Adelaide Cottage?
Windsor is state owned, not by the Crown Estate. There’s a difference. And yea, a lease is a lease. If you want him out, buy him out
It’s more complicated than that - Windsor Castle, part of the Occupied Royal Palaces Estate, is owned by Charles III in right of the Crown,and day-to-day management is by the Royal Household. However Royal Lodge is leased out by the crown estates as the land is crown estate property.

I have never and do not think the whole King wanting to evict Andrew is true.
Fergue has s beautiful flat in London, why not move there. I think PW & PC need a decent hime on grounds, its perfect place for their family. Prince Andrew had it 🎉 for his family, his chd whom were styled as princesses even tho they were never working royals. I think he's sucked enough our of RF, let him and Fergiev retire.

I understand that Prince Andrew has a lease on Royal Lodge, which is a legal document, but I don't think he has any income other than his military pension, right?
Not a working royal, so no financial support there.
No longer UK trade envoy so salary gone.
As far as i know, he's not doing any more dodgy deals with countries ending in "istan".
So it seems his main income must come from King Charles personally which means Charles pretty much has Andrew over a barrel. We've never seen warm and fuzzy interactions between the two (in fact they both seem to have angry faces when around each other) so Charles is basically calling the shots here.
That said, it would cause even more friction if Charles was kicking Andrew out of Royal Lodge specifically to let Prince William and family move in. So I'm kind of doubting that portion of the story. I've learned that unless something comes directly from Kensington or Buckingham Palace, not to trust it.
We don't know how much money Andrew has. Don't forget the possibility of inheritances.

Hi Elliot, I love the look of Wood Farm! However, I don't see Prince Andrew going there because it's very rustic. I don't care for Royal Lodge at all; it's incredibly ostentatious (in my humble opinion, of course). Frogmore Cottage looks very nice, but I've read the planes overhead from the nearest airport are very noisy. The bills for Royal Lodge must be incredibly over the top expensive!
Yes noisy planes overhead the whole of Windsor! Wood Farm would be my preferred relocation if I were Andrew. He’d have the whole Sandringham estate to roam and still live in comfort albeit rustic.

I don't believe William and Catherine want to live in Royal lodge and are quite happy in Adelaide cottage. IF it came they needed a bigger property they could move into the Castle
Why would they want 30 room this includes 8 bedrooms. 7 cottages, one is the gardeners and a chapel. The heating bill must be enormous.

Windsor Castle is the home of the monarch, not the heir and his family.

It’s dependent upon the terms of the lease which we don’t fully know. For all we know there may not be a maintenance clause.
We can only see the outside, we cannot see inside the house, are things needing updated, are all 30 bedrooms in good order, is there damp anywhere. It’s easy to make comment on the outside because we can all see that and it would make sense to keep it looking in good condition. I guess they would need to send in a surveyor, to write a report on the property.
Royal lodge does NOT have 30 bedrooms. It has 30 rooms, 7 bedrooms.

Windsor Castle is the home of the reigning monarch, not the heir.

When The King and Queen aren't at Clarence House, they're usually at Highgrove. Windsor Castle seems to be empty at the present time. It's sad, if you ask me.

I think Andrew and Sarah should go to Frogmoor. I see Frogmoor as infamous which would be perfect for the Yorks, he is tarnished and she is somewhat of a loose cannon. IMO
With regard to security Andrew has the WindsorEstate security services, but when he leaves the estate, he get former servicemen as his security which as YOU said PH does not want. What risk is Andrew exposed to, he could be escorted by scouts! Compare him to PH who has s large group of haters based on racism - he dared to muddy the royal blood, his life and that of his wife n kids are at huge risk. As it is if say a US celebrity wanted to visit UK, they get to pay the working met police security for which they pay for - so the life of a stranger to RF is more valuable than the g/son of monarch and now son of monarch🤔?! It is reported that on leaving UK KC made similar arrangement with PH ( security & allowance) and once PH, wife n son left, the arrangement was pulled by KC. Andrew must be aware of this and may need lawyer to drew up the lodge lease to ensure KC keeps his end of the deal. With regard to a house for PW - does he not already have a 21 room apt in KP - plus Amner Hall - how can anyone expect a royal family to live in a 4 bedroom house - where will all of kate's wardrobe be kept, husband and wife have bedroom suites, so Adelaide cottage is definitely too pedestrian for heir to the throne!! BTW -Prince Charles wrote a book; Princess Diana authorized one, both did separate TV interviews - what's your problem with PH doing the same, or should he have done like Andrew and hang out with multi-millionaires that eventually led to claims of sexual misconduct - Brits prefer this to a bi-racial woman🤔!

Pros and Cons for Andrew but it seems, depending upon what King Charles might offer, a smaller property that has been recently renovated could be good deal. As for the Wales’ also making a move…it would be a very large house and expensive.

Anyone who rents has the keep the property in good condition clause, clearly he isn't fulfilling his obligations, so he is in breach of his lease, so the king has a legal right to ask him to leave, also, he's not being made homeless, the king is in the right here. Also, there must be something more serious concerning the structure of the property, I don't see the king wanting him out for missing a bit of paint work, do you!
This is not renting. In U.K holding the lease of a property and renting are two very different things.

What about Windsor Castle. That’s closer to where they live now. Is it closed. The royal lodge sounds more work than it’s worth. The man has enough problems-as long as he doesn’t cause problems and isn’t lying about the upkeep let him be.
