Uncle Spencer has become my youtube teacher..And I got a lot of knowledge about how to sing techniques from you...And some of my friends at school said, that several times I sing I did it very well and it's more lively now. Im so excited. Love from Jakarta Indonesia❤❤
That's awesome that your friends are noticing the difference in your voice! Thanks for liking and commenting on this video since it lets UA-cam know to share it with other singers who need this 😊
So excited for another video from you Spencer! I loved them all! They were all so challenging, but the "hey 3" was so fun to trying to keep the breath sustaining for so long with all the notes :D
Hey thank you for sharing thoses greats exercises ! I m a bit lost about the third passagio that you mention (1 “45). Is this third passage from head voice to whistle ? Or something like airy head voice aka falsetto for some people?
Amazing my friend Spencer!!....You are the right expert to make this insane reaction video and give us your opinion about this insane singer...In 2017, the music world was shocked by the bursting onto the scene of a 22-year-old singer named Dimash Kudaibergen, who performed on the famous Chinese competition show for professional singers called “The Singer”... It was just it was necessary for this young man to make his first appearance, making a cover of one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse", to be considered from that moment on as the best singer in the entire planet....No one in the musical field had ever seen a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges above 7 octaves and several semitones, that is, all 88 keys of a digital piano, which reaches a little more than 7 octaves and as if that weren't enough, sing the more than 12 languages...Since then all kinds of experts (Vocal coachs, singers, musicians, analysts, singing teachers, youtubers, reactors, etc.) have dedicated themselves to reviewing their presentations to try to understand how someone can sing this way...The incredible thing is that that presentation in China was in 2017 but what Dimash has done in these 5 years is to further improve his wide vocal range, which is currently practically above of the 8 octaves... The Covid pandemic stopped his concerts worldwide, all with tickets sold in just seconds, via the internet, but at the same time it ended up catapulting him to the top of popularity worldwide...Anyway, since I think you are one of those reactors who have not yet met this impressive singer, here is the link of that presentation in China in 2017, with the song S.O.S. and I would like you to mention my name as the person who recommended him to you...You have to be prepared because your channel will explode with an avalanche of views, comments and new subscribers....I leave you one more recent video than the others, so it does not have the same number of views as the previous ones, which have millions of views, but it is a more complete video, with an intro, subtitles in several languages and with the improved quality of audio and sound....ua-cam.com/video/bDX3FhmyNac/v-deo.html
It's definitely an advanced vocal workout. You will need to have your chest, mix, and head voice balanced and well-connected first before tackling this. Feel free to try my mix voice workouts here or subscribe to my program Singing Ignition to get your voice there.
It's a longer phrase so feel free to take a quick breath in the middle of each scale. Better to interrupt the scale and take more breaths than to run out of air. I don't run out because I'm using my breath efficiently with a small amount of air/second. If you're singing with breathy phonation or a lot of air pressure, you might run out more quickly.
I realise I can avoid straining and sing higher when I reduce my volume. I recorded my voice, and realised that the actual volume isn't as soft as I perceive it to be. Is this normal? I'm always worried that I might be singing songs too softly because I don't have a loud voice to begin with, yet I realise I still got to reduce volume to sing higher.
Yes there is a difference between perceived volume and actual volume. Remember that you’re listening to yourself from the inside so your voice will sound different to you than it does to everyone else. What style of music do you like to sing?
Yeah this is an intermediate to advanced workout. So if you find it too hard, you might want to start with my Mix Voice workouts first. Have you tried them?
Yeah, these are more advanced exercises, and there are lots more in my program Singing Ignition. How did you do with these? These are pitched for male voice. Are you a soprano?

Thank you!
You're very welcome! What kind of topics would you like me to cover in future videos?
Love your lessons. How do you have enough air for the ascending hay?
The important thing is not to over-exhale in the "h" and push too much air through on the "ay" vowel
@@SpencerWelchVocalStudio thank you.
Is it just me that has so much difficulty with the ascending hay? I keep running out of breath at the beginning
