@@aphrorox according to the leaderboards a Korean did a 121 pit with firebolt this season. Fireball and chain lightning are more fun to play with, though.

Why are you not using the staff of endless rage? The fireball projectial speed, that allows a chance for fireball to cast twice ontop of every 3rd cast it fires another 2 balls AND ranks to fireball , i feel like that would be more efficient and more dps vs just pure stats on intel + vul and a bit of max life. Any type of breakdown you can provide so i can understand better?
This is a shatter build that uses burning damage converted by greater fireball. Ranks to fireball do not increase the damage, as well at the 90% from staff of endless rage. It will still work decently with that staff, but you would want to max masterwork Int. Wand+Focus would be much higher damage, and way tankier as we get 2 pieces with max life and the extra cooldown on focus.
I've been wanting to try this build after seeing your video but one thing confusses me. Your build guide shows 2 runes for a one handed weapon that can only have one gem slot. How does that work?
An evident typo as one handers cannot hold two gems/runes. This is why I show the gear at the end of the video. To add, when I made most of my planners, the build site didn't have a way to specify between armor or weapon so some may default to the wrong slot. Always best to check gear in the video over the planner.
idk, sorc is fun, this build is fun. But think I have tried doing 15 pits in a row, either I just die on the boss in the last second, or I keep getting boss after boss with 0 adds.
@@aphroroxso this fireball shatter build can’t speed clear 100-110 with good gear if boss doesn’t spawn ads? Or can it without ads? I don’t like the pure fireball because it misses potential damage based on distance from enemies and tight spaces. Great for infernal horde though
Bosses without adds aren’t an option, they are a requirement. Leave the pit if you get a boss that doesn’t spawn adds. I might look into a Meteor build-I just finished an Incinerate build so need to farm more mats.
No comparison as stated in the description, this is for pit pushing. Lightning will never go as high as fire shatter this season. CL feels much better for everything else.

I'm sorry but this video made me sad for some reason.. The best class for 5 seasons straight, struggling to clear pit 115, while Spiritborn is selling 4 party clears at 125 with ease.. Hot damn, what have they done.. Congratulations though for finding a way to make a build that isn't stack at pit 95 👍🏻
Pit 150 Party of 4 clears is possible a friend of mine and i we did Last Season with Sorc and this Season it is way faster with Spiritborn. But we don't sell. We do it for fun and to Challenge us.
I don’t really count shatter builds as representative of how the class actually performs in real gameplay because shatter is just a pit pushing gimmick IMO. Real sorc builds are sitting at the low 100s.
bah tried over 5 different build and over 20 variations, but i can't move from pit 90, if you don't play spiritis that's the most you can do unless you have 10000000000000000 hours to hope for best in slot affixes, damn me for spending more money on this shit of a game after what i've spent just for the base shit of this game, gotta go back to palmworld, how come free games nowdays are a lot better than payed ones?

Fire Bolt has been the strongest sorc build since S4 and unenjoyable to play for many. This is the strongest Fireball build.

I did say FireBOLT is the strongest 🤣. FireBALL is more enjoyable to play if we’re talking about Shatter builds, but is slightly worse than Bolt.

Why do you have +7 to firebolt on the pants? You don't use firebolt in this build except for the enchantment.

Shatter builds need adds to shatter on the boss. This isn’t optional. Leave the pit if it’s a boss with no adds.

Blizzard is going to have a balance patch soon and then several hotfixes from the patch breaking everything in the game.

Boss needs adds. There are plenty of shatter players clearing by high-just takes practice as it’s not as easy as non-shatter builds.
if you had to choose? Build fireball or Lightning
Fireball for Pit push, Lightning for everything else. Depends on your goals.

No one should be comparing any class to Spiritborn. It’s ridden with bugs and not tuned.
Actually sorc is the class that is doing better in the pit this season (SB doesn't count)
