Not really, he is good. But when it comes to sukoon in voice, no where close to the likes of Sajjad Ali, Shafqat etc
When he was performing, his voice was not what is his natural melody. So live they are trying to cover it up by pumping up the music behind his voice.

Ali Sethi's vocals are so on point and like a treat to our ears but the background music really interferes with this beautiful rendition. The music is just too loud and takes the fun away from this performance. It's loud to an extent that the music seems more like a 'noise' that hinders with the beautiful vocals.

No, his vocals are not on point. Notice the lady is louder without even trying. He doesn't sing louder because he is covering up his bad Live voice by singing softly. Typical of a lot of our sub-continent singers who usually mime on stage.... and the crowd goes wild!!
@@clearsky8980 just being louder doesn't mean at all that you are all pitched perfect. Ali Sethi's voice texture is naturally soft; and also the song doesn't demand high pitch from the singer. Ali is magnificent here.

I am culturally kashmiri and Punjabi and with pashtun ancestry from swat and I have picked up Punjabi by reading English Punjabi, kashmiri from locals but I understood it but can't speak it but speaking it is still difficult and now trying Pashto 😀 and in the process my urdu has gotten poor👍
