Me too. The image that conjures up for me is The Chain, with Mansell and Senna side by side down the straight at Catalunya, both cars sparking as they bottom out
I always think of Mansell stroking this car away from the field in 1992, and being on an absolute mission. He was untouchable that year, and deserved that title - and more. Great ambassador for our sport and our country.
Mansell chasing Senna at Monaco after a forced pit stop. What an early 90's memory on a Sunday afternoon. Matched with Murray's and Hunt's commentary, for me a wonderful memory !
as a kid growing mansell was my favourite unfortunately never got the chance to see him race only through the bbc and the one and only Murray walker the is the best soundtrack ever great memories

Absolutely fantastic. The best sight in F1 for me, Mansell in Red 5, such an aesthetically pleasing car. Instantly teleported me back to 1992 watching with my Dad. Got pretty emotional watching that. 🇬🇧🦁

I saw Nigel drive F1 in person a few times and he was amazing! I also saw in at Michigan International Speedway in 1993 and was up close in a suite right about the Newman-Haas pits. Nigel was the fastest car and driver by far that day! He was passing by going up high on the track and driving by two cars running abreast of each other. This is great to see, brings back so many memories, including that Canadian GP when Mansell's car quit on the last lap when he was waving at the crowd!
Iconic Car with the iconic V10 Renault Sound! Pure 90’s! Still remember when I was a kid and went crazy when my dad bought to me the 1:24 Bburago model car 😍
I was 16 in 1992 and living in Cornwall and never been to a race track. My brother phoned me who was living up Bicester way and said he had a ticket to the Silverstone gp and said did I fancy going even though I did not have much interest in f1. I remember we were stood halfway down the hanger straight and it was coming up to 9am when they should come out to practice. I was so naive thinking the Williams had a engine out of a Renault laguna or something like that. It had now gone 9 and I turned to my brother and said I thought they were coming out now and out of nowhere Mansell came past and the the rest of them. It sounded so amazing with the Renault v10 v12 Hondas Ferrari v12s and Schumacher in the Benetton v8 Ford. I went to being a full on f1 fan in a matter of seconds and watching the Williams going through maggots and Becketts was amazing. That was a great day🏎
