I agree. I really wish the anime had followed the manga more in the second half. We get so much more Mello and Matt content in the manga. We actually see Matt working with Mello and keeping tabs on Misa. Also, Near in the manga is just awesome. I already liked Near after watching the anime, then I read the manga and loved him even more. I think if they had the same amount of time in the anime, as in the manga, more people would like them.
