This does not just cost pennies to make. Instamorph is $30+ per 1kg/1000g (and that's if your lucky to find it that cheap). Even if the icicle only took 50g of Instamorph to make, it still costs $1.50 in material. I'm sure there's a cheaper place to find pre-made holiday decorations (a box of candy canes can be bought at the dollar store for $1). I'm not refuting the usefulness of Instamorph, I just don't think its utility can be advertised as being cost effective in this scenario.
I made the video to show a basic intro of how to use it. You can reuse it over and over. I STILL have the container I bought 8 years ago, and it's almost totally full. I keep re-using the same pieces over and over again. :)
@@nikoliniolnc I had to deal with cancer. I'm in remission, so hopefully back soon (mid March is my hope). Thanks for asking. I should be on other platforms too, right? I'll try to get that going as well. ❤

Yes, there is. I just added a couple of links to the description that you can take a look at. Don't feel like you have to buy from the links I shared. 👍
Also known as polycaprolactone, which I only learnt the other day. For some reason none of the sellers I've come across want to tell you that! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polycaprolactone
@@kingdevine7374 I'd try it on something unimportant first, like a lock you buy at the dollar store. Then if it doesn't work, no big loss. Please don't use it to steal a car or break into someone's house! Lol. I don't want to be an accessory to a crime. If the authorities come read this, it's just info for personal use!
I haven't left. I still come back every few days to answer comments. I'm currently working on more videos, but I don't really make any money from my channel. I do it because I love making stuff and helping other people to, too. Also, deleted your other comment not because I don't appreciate it. Trust me, done that to my finger, too. Just because of the swearing, because there are kids here. Hope you feel better!
I had never even heard of this stuff before this video. That's why I love your channel, I am always learning something new :)
+Morning Glory Garden Yeah, this stuff is crazy useful!
I BOUGHT THIS STUFF AND I LOVEEEEEEE IT SOOOOOOO SOOOO SOO MUCH!
+Aidyn Curlee I know, right? It is crazy fun!
Hello! Can this be used for sculpting, especially for detailed features?
It can, but you have to use a hot knife if you want small details.
@@MakerHighSchool Ok, thank you for the info :)

Great ideas can we use it as in jewelry?
Sure! You just need to make sure no one leaves it in a hot car. 👍
@@MakerHighSchool why you are obsent from you tube though? Are you on tiktok or ig?

Is there a moldable product like this that stays clear?
Yes, there is. I just added a couple of links to the description that you can take a look at. Don't feel like you have to buy from the links I shared. 👍
@@MakerHighSchoolThank you for you reply and info. 😊
It can be used for action figures! (I can’t wait to get my thermo plastic poly doh beads!)
I hope you have fun!
MakerHigh im getting them tomorrow!! :D
MakerHigh also I’m gonna make a lot of action figures with it! :D
That sounds awesome!
Hi, can this be used in a mold?
Yes, but it needs to be heat safe like silicone. It needs to be really hot, and you need to work quickly.
is this not the same as hot glue?
It's totally not. They both are plastic polymers, but this is closer to 3d printer filament than hot glue. 👍
I love your voice!
Aw, thanks!
Where this available praise and address please
You can usually find it on Amazon.
Excelente 👌👍‼️

I just added a link to amazon india to the description. I hope that helps you.

Can it make a key
Maybe? If you're trying to make a prop, then yes. If you're trying to make a working key, I'd be worried about it breaking off in the lock.
@@MakerHighSchool hmmmmmm.... I'm thinking about a working key with maybe a piece of metal inside
