Great video again, interesting drill. Similar size to the Sky drill I use…can squeeze 2 bags in the back tank and 3 bags in the front if I keep away from slopes! I reckon a camera in the bin, a rear view camera on the back and a couple of work lights wired into it will do you well. Markers were the first thing to come off with ours too! Keep up good work 👍
Anotjer cracking video! Good to be out doing field work again. You got your times mixed up too lol. "It's 6pm and this time last night it would of been 7pm. No lol. Wrong way round Andy! We'll let you off though! Keep em coming!
You could chop one marker to 3m long and just use it on the third headland round to make a mark in the middle of the second headland round , run your field side sprayer wheel along it and you won’t be far off bang on the headland tramline…
Brilliant video Andy, great to see the drill in action. Have you got some bigger points for bean drilling if you drill beans again? Good to see Oscar enjoying the ride. Is that an olly blogs seed sock?
How did the calibration work? All I saw is you pressed a button to prime the system, then used the same button to fill the bag. Is there some sort of timer/rate function linked to the button in the background. I thought to run a calibration you measure how much seed is released against some control parameters? What was actually being calibrated?
Could you use headland control with headland offset to turn drill on\off instead of doing it manually? Great content though. Isobus makes life very easy
Love watching your videos, watch all of them last year and was great to see a whole year of farming and the progression throughout the year. What is your farm called?
Andy great video as always my friend like I’ve said many times always a pleasure to watch and I nice wind down before the next days work 👍 I’m pretty sure fs22 has just added that drill to the game but not 100% I’ll have to have a look now just for the sake of of Look forward to the next one cheers buddy
@@Itsafarminglifeforme Good lad you got to have somthing to work to! I didnt pick Machine then decide to save!. We had Contract stuff but wanted own so saved. Ended up with Renault Ares and Dowseswell 5 furrow and advertised and ploughed alot and proved i could do Business and Got Claas Axion although ok was not like Renault. I. talking 2002.
U seemed to change the points quite quickly. Are they soft or how many acres did u get on them. Also how do u open the second bag, seems like it would be handy for the walkway to go down the side a bit.
Hi mate those points that I changed are just the 4 wheel mark eradicating tines that are just regular steel and lasted for around 200 acres. The points on the seed legs are tungsten tip and will last a long time.
Tired?, if you had to load the drill by hand ,and steer the tractor, i might have some sympathy. No but seriously I enjoy your vids, and wish there was that sort of gear to use when I was working the land.
Lovely reference to Fred Dibnah..." did you like that! " Great video.
Cheers Andy. Great vid

Yes the 2PM doze! Usually an hour or two after you've eaten... I normally give in and close my eyes for 10 mins and find I feel fine after that!
Great video Andy. Thanks for the updates and showing us your drilling. I do like how compact the drill is.

Hello mate I think that's the only point available and no its not from Olly, someone else sent me that one from Beltec.

Hi ,can you tell us what all the hydraulic pipes are for, this

Why did you go from 8m drill to a 6 m drill?
Oui Thomas ok 😁
Why do you have a Green line in the GPS screen?
What is the significance of farms 1, 2, & 3? Are they all one big farm? Do you mainly use farm 1?
Great video Andy, I got a question wat was the reason you got a 6 m drill and not a 8 m drill ?
Love watching your videos, watch all of them last year and was great to see a whole year of farming and the progression throughout the year. What is your farm called?

Another cracking video mate....do you need to download or install a program for the drill to work on the John Deere system or is it pre installed????
Hi no we just plugged the drill in and the tractor recognised it all instantly.
