I pray God keeps him in awe of His sovereignty all his days and serve no other and this generation will be turned back to their maker
My favorite hymn. I sang this in front of my church, tears running down my cheeks in the second verse, but my voice did not break once. I was singing for Him.
I have the same reaction from that second verse. They don’t play it here, though. It’s the verse I came here to hear tonight.
George Beverley Shea was truly anointed. My granny and my mum had beautiful soprano voices and they used to sing this song and other worship songs too but this was a favourite of theirs and it's still one of my favourite worship songs. R.I.P Mr Shea. R.I.P mum and gran❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
My Dad was a Methodist minister for 44 years. I remember him singing this in the 60's. I also saw Bev Shea in Raleigh, NC in 1968(?), and he sang this song. One of my all-time favorites of Bev Shea and my Dad. RIP to both of them...
The day of Christ’s return is drawing nearer. Book of Revelation is steadily being fulfilled. We’ll be seeing how great He is after singing about His greatness for so long. Just thinking about being in Heaven seeing Jesus and family is uber exciting

What a wonderful true hymn, and what a wonderful man was George Beverley Shea, I sang behind him at Harringey Arena when I was 17 years old . Still brings wonderful memories and also tears to my eyes. Oh for a revival.
That piano guy is blessed to have played the piano for this legend of God.
Great man of God and singer. Now with the God he sang about. He is missed and so is his music. We need a revival of the great Hymns of yesteryear in the Church these days. The new sounds are nice but the Hymns speak to us because they were/are blessed of God and inspired by the verses of the Bible. God help us to get back to them and to Revival Preaching and the altar services which should be at the end of every service....

I'm Not a born again Christian i am a Catholic Christian but i heard this Hymn and i emptied a box of tissues this was Played at my mothers funeral and i think about her every day . but i cry out to the lord for he gave his life for me amen
Before my dad passed away he would listen to him on alexa for over an hour . I would try and turn it off and he would say . Just a little longer . He joined my mother in Heaven just a little over a year after she left us .

In no other name is salvation. One Muslim family from Bangladesh, friends of mine, here in my country, asked me to pray for them. They faced many problems. Yes, I will, I said, if you allow me to pray in the name of Jesus. "Of course," the husband answered. And God indeed answered these prayers in a miraculous way. I hope, this family will one day pray in the name of Jesus themselves.

My moms favorite hymn. Me and both of my brothers sang to her on her death bed. As i recall. Eventhough she was heavily sedated tesrs wre coming down her cheeks. I believe this was the only time the 3 of us sang together
