This song never gets old! It touches me the same way each time I hear it and the Gaithers singing it is truly wonderful and beautiful! I can visually imagine heaven with the Gaithers singing! It will be the most wonderful place to be!
Each time I watch one of these Gaither videos, I marvel at the cross-section of ages of all the musicians, from the singers to the orchestra. It's an absolute wonder how they all simply gel. And regardless of who sings, they show their appreciation when the song is finished. We are blessed to bear witness to the praise come from these accomplished musicians

I just hope I can contain myself and stay seated while this is playing because it makes me want to stand up with my arms raised in praise, singing as best I can! Maybe I should stand up and sing and encourage everyone else to do it too, I mean a funeral SHOULD be a celebration of life and entry to Heaven right?
There is no difference in skin color when it comes to the love of God. Gaither features many black people in the music they present. Currently the baitone in the vocal band is black, and he is excellent. In the chorus you will see Wintney Phipps, and two or three other well know black vocalists, male and female. That is as it should be. God made us all, and loves us all, equally. Praise Him.
This is why I love music whether its jazz, pop, classical or gospel. It transcends so many boundaries. In fact I have a friend in my string ensemble who barely speaks English but that doesn't matter when we play together. Perhaps this is why the Bible has so many references to music and praising God. It unites us all regardless of age, gender, race or status.
I didn't see it but that is the way that is the way it is supposed to be. We need more exposure to the main stream media for our younger ones seeing it too. So much in this world needs to be uplifted rather than torn down.
