    Blend of a handful of single malts aged 5-6 years spending time in reused bourbon and older Oloroso sherry casks finished in Mizanura Japanese Oak.

    Thank you guys for another awesome review! I definitely usually stick to Nikka and Suntory distilleries but I will keep my eyes open on this one. There's a lot of new distilleries showing up in United States from Japan. Not all of them are that good lol.

    If they had just labelled it Pure Malt like a lot of Japanese releases for blended malt, then you would have known what it was upfront.

    I've seen this one quite a bit, but they have an Omakase pure malt 8 year that I can't locate. It might be a travel exclusive. I tend to avoid Japanese whisky's generally. Even Ralfy says there's not much "integrity" when it comes to Japanese whisky laws and their products being transparent. Thanks dummies.

    Probably made in Scotland, label made in Japan.
