I thought the trope of a woman wanting to have a child with a guy the first second they meet only happened in harem animes, Crowley was truly the main character of his time.
@@xcell_r4thr87 Seinen MC who starts out pure, experiences tragedy, illness and becomes corrupted from a negative character arc, only to be redeemed by serendipity during the third and final arc.
It’s so weird how Crowly’s life reads like an actual biblical story or parable- A child of god that went astray, enough to be called the beast of revelations. But even to a man such as that, God would give another chance, sending an “Angel”. And once he took The Lord’s mercy, he was blessed with loyalty, family, and love. For himself, and for God. Seriously, it sounds like an actual Bible verse.
Instruct a child in the way He should go and He will not depart from it when he is older. It was what I felt when knowing what happened to his Father. It was sad, but glad that it didn’t end in prosperity for him, but just as His Father wanted living simply as a family man in his old age. In truth all of it may have come from the simple fact that his father would speak blessings with his own mouth but fill the mouths of others with poison. I’d rather be dead at 12 and faithful to Him that made me then reform, but again He would have healed me. Like he did many others that became missionaries and preachers of that time. Wait for the woman that God chooses for you much sin is in the careless partaking of bodies.
Yoshitsune is actually based on real person as well, even if ancient historical hero rather than something more recent, his story is quite interesting too, Yoshitsune Minamoto played a crucial role in war between Minamoto and Taira clans he was extremely skilled swordsman and strategist and oftenly considered the only reason why his clan succeeded, he ended up betrayed by his brother and exiled since his brother feared that Yoshitsune can take power for himself, growing even more paranoid of now exiled Yoshitsune he send his troops after him which forced Yoshitsune and his family to commit seppuku, so yeah Yoshitsune is pretty interesting character with tragic backstory and the main reason why he is a demon in the series is because of the two legends about him, first states that he trained under tutelage of tengu and second says he took revenge on his brother from beyond the grave appearing before him as a ghost and causing him to fall from his horse
@@snailthelostcow63the Tengu stories began when he was around 16 years old? If I recall? Before his induction into the Minamoto clan, he was training with monks in various disciplines. It was swordmanship he not only excelled at, but seemed too talented for his age. One version of the story goes that some monks were watching his training and asked each other "did you teach him how to do that?" "No," one replies, "I thought you were teaching him." "No. I thought you were." Nobody seems to know who taught him his swordmanship specifically. If we go on a purely scientific route, he had a hard life and such children tend to become ultra-perceptive. We cannot let us distance ourselves (in the sense of "wow, that would never happen to me/anybody I know") from their humanity to the point where we lose the scope of how close each of us is to "going down that road", y'know. A false sense of security can itself be very dangerous. So… y'all just remember, "all it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy" and all that shit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This guy Ramirez made Satan and real Satanists look and sound bad. Satan can't be blamed for what this guy did. He had to be responsible for his actions that he did. This was years ago, and I quit watching him after he started going on hour long rants about how being called a weeb didn't bother him in the slightest, but I recall thinking at the time that he coulda really made a lot of videos on SMT demons that not only woulda been interesting and informative, but even brought some variety and dispelled some of the "'weebness" had the demons been any of the dozens of demons not based on Japanese culture. Watching this video made me think about how interesting that channel coulda been.
Great video hoping for more
There's a bunch of demons and personas based on real people in the persona series.
😁👏👏👏pretty good video, like they said say facts are stranger than fiction, maybe you can make a series of this, like real demons based on real people it would be a very interesting topic.
what was the song playing at the start of the vid?
Surprised Ramirez didn't show up in Black Souls.
Interesting stuff.
If you ever get inspired to make a sequel, I want to know more about one of my local legends, the Mad Gasser!
This was an amazing video. Is there anymore real life figures in SMT that you could cover?
Man I wish we had the technology to bring people back to life so that the Night Stalker could’ve gotten all 19 of his death sentences
Just imagine catching Crowley in a Pokeball.
There's another series that has Alister as a major character with his backstory n history almost mirror to the story of the real Alister Crowley it's a light novel title toaru majutsu no index by sir kamachi
I literally made it my mission to scroll through the comments until I saw a comment mentioning Index
Did you just… copy paste a part of your script into the description?
Probably by accident, lol.
OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My brain exploded @0:40 HOW THE FUCK DID I NEVER CONNECT THE NIGHT STALKER WITH THE, Y'KNOW NIGHT STALKER!
On god I'm so dumb holy shit, how did this literally occur to me just now watching this vid?
really interesting
I always feel a little squishy about the usage of real life murders in fantastical settings, like, it makes me wonder if the victim's families will find it disrespectful
Are we going to stop referencing real wars or diseases too because "muh victim's families" might get butthurt?
Wow, honestly never dared to look further into this "class" of SMT demons, and in part I now feel like that was the correct choice. Damn you, Mr. 4You
That said, to reemphasize the point at 5:55 any time the topic of "absolute"/inhuman evil gets brought up, I feel compelled to leave this thought: Despite how horrific they seem, it's important to remember that these weren't "beasts" or "demons", they were, after all, human.
Humans are the real demons.
I’m from El Paso, awesome I’m related to the smt series.
you forgot Yoshitsune, Masakado, and many more
This video was pretty interesting I'd like to see more vids like this.
SMT in REAL LIFE 😱???? 💥 💥 💥
(Shadow Sae Nijima PEGGED me!)
Wasn't alester crowley the guy floating upside down in a fanta orange septic tank inside a tall building
What about The Mad Gasser?
Jesus, Richard was constantly influenced by bad people no wonder what happened to him happened.
This guy Ramirez made Satan and real Satanists look and sound bad. Satan can't be blamed for what this guy did. He had to be responsible for his actions that he did. Too many people blame Satan for bad actions that they made. Real knowledgeable Theistic Satanists don't go killing people. That's Not what Satanism is about!
