Respect...a man who's prepared to stand up in front of his peers and betters and show you all he's got!
Nice one son. Made me smile. Brilliant. Loved to have been there
Frank Skinner's got the perfect voice and personality for this song. It's so fun to watch him perform!
Skinner your a star!
He's got great rhythm, seems a top chap, would've love to have met him :)
i smiled all the way through,frank/chris was great
Frank is a good lad.
Be nice if Frank came back for another convention. Be great to meet him!
Frank is an entertaining genius of today very quick with come backs from hecklers
a good all rounder
George did his bit and he was also brilliant doing all his entertaining overseas for our troops in the second World War
He is not genius and he really has never said anything new or inventive
He said to the keyboard player 'Do you still work with Arkwright in the shop' which is a reference to the Ronnie Barker show 'Open All Hours' in which David Jason's charactor Granville worked in the shop and dressed in a similar manner to the keyboard player.
Frank’s a very clever man as shown by his recent English Literature documentaries about great poets on Sky Arts
Well done Mr Skinner
my dad love's it
Nice one frank!

eeeeeeeee is getting thire it take great nerve to get up + play .
every body is good in my eyes ,i wish all well ,we frank is giving it some hahaaha
I did for a fraction of a second see myself - but it was only because I knew where I was sat and what I was wearing. Certainly not as clear as some of the others. I was also in the lesson session but as I was to the right of the room near the rear the main camera was looking over my shoulder.
You may have your thoughts on Frank Skinner to which you are entitled.
However, he was a really nice guy in the flesh and spent time when he was not working on the programme, as did his crew watching the performances and talking to people.
Also he is a genuine George Formby fan which is why he wanted to make the programme rather than a programme looking for a presenter.
Way too much into football if you ask me
go frank go.........
Actual playing starts at 2:23
I am a busy man and I appreciate this.
@davegb99 I saw this on tv. Might see where you are in the audience
The BBC recorded the song and it was transmitted - this is my recording of it so is not BBC material.
can anyone tell me the chords to this?
GREAT JOB FRANK! (BRING BACK ANDY EASTWOOD.....LOL!!!!!)
Yes shame about the skaky camera but at least you have a recording of it 'raw', as it were.
I have the full documentary too on my DVD recorder too recorded at the time. :-)
@@davegb99 Wow cool. WTG Dave. :)
There's a song in bluegrass music call "mules skinner blues"
Jerry who's DVD?
What does he say 1:51?
athull08 Do you still work with Arkwright in the shop?
Well done Frank 😂
He definitely overdid the 'I'm terrible' talk at the start
Easy, it's your salmon pink shirt Frank.
I was disappointed he played a solo 🤣
Frank conceals alot of brains and wit - he had done alot for the image of Birmingham, He is sincere in his respect for George Formby. I am sincere in my respect for Mr Skinner - a few less anal sex jokes would be nice too.
I fail to see how he's done a lot for the image of Birmingham. He was born in West Bromwich, not Birmingham.
Michael Garfield ah, but there was once a joke in Birmingham.
I was going to respond to the anal sex thing, but couldn’t be arsed.
He didn't so much play a Solo...more like he played a Wookie 🤣
One of the worst so called comedians is Frank Skinner.I am a George Formby fan and i think was the worst choice to have done this program.
What do you know
