I guess, but it's nothing revolutionary. This was supposed to be the true successor to the Megaman franchise, and it's soooo decent that it's completely forgettable. I doubt it's going to be a title played for years to come. Even the 3D models in game look pretty bland. Not to mention cheese popcorn explosions, multiple delays, and 4 MILLION DOLLARS. I had lots of hope from the concept art and this amazingly crafted theme song, but unfortunately, the final product was well below expectations.
And yet, we have _Shovel Knight_, which was also crowdfunded via kickstarter, but turned out to be a far better game than _Mighty No. 9_. Even if we put aside the troubled production and the issues still present in the actual game (such as the horrendous framerate in some versions), _Mighty No. 9_'s level design and gameplay aren't as well-executed as _Shovel Knight_'s or _Mega Man_'s. In other words, I don't think we asked too much from an indie studio with kickstarter fonds, especially since said studio is spearheaded by the man that had a major influence on _Mega Man_ itself.
@@freemanninja1 I dunno, I actually enjoyed it a lot for what it was. I still agree that its presentation falls far below its budget, but for me personally, that's far from a dealbreaker.

While this game failed to be a a successor in the long run, the soundtrack, specifically this song, is incredible. It's a shame how much of this game's potential was squandered.
The only thing that actually saved Mighty No. 09 from the absolute oblivion is the soundtrack. Is beyond godlike. But the rest is mediocre.... and the way they wants to do sequels... if the sequel is asured to come, I am expecting to see the sequel if they improves a lot.
Dude they can have much money but the problem is that the fans don’t even thing on the limitations of a little group of people creating a game don’t expect a GREAAAT game. Not saying that they are not capable I’m saying that it needs more people working on the project and also instead of letting the game have the hate they should make a remake fixing all the errors graphics the cutscenes. And the fans instead of trying making a female or remake or an fangame trying to clean the dirty in MN9’s name they just sit and talk crap without even played the game
This makes me want to cry...I love this theme to no end and it reminds me of when the Kickstarter happened and I had so much hype and faith for it....still a good song though ;( Rest in spaghetti never forgetti
I agree, I remember everything that was promised to us and how we all thought this was going to revive megaman for a more modern audience and we were all hyped for it to be perfect. The problem was it hyped us up too much and our expectations were so high that when we got the final game we felt betrayed and lied to. At least I can look back and relive all those times by listening to this song
As someone who has actually played Mighty No 9 I can tell you I don't know where the hell all the "IT SUCKS!!!!" comes from. The game had a rocky development but the game itself is pretty damned good, quintessential Megaman gameplay 10 times better than anything Capcom itself had come up with the Megaman franchise in a long long time.
Because once people started trashing it on the internet for its poorly run kickstarter, the internet hive mind took over and decided to hate the game for the sake of hating. The game was a very good mix of megaman and megaman x play styles and was fun as hell. People generally don't think for themselves anymore and let the internet tell them how to think.
Can't believe fans let a bad kickstarter ruin the reputation of what was actually a very good game and a nice blend between the megaman and megaman x play styles. This is why will never have nice things.
Man even with all the stuff that transpired, this song will always remind of the time when I saw it being announced on kickstarter and being genuinely excited about the game. Checking on the kickstarter page daily for updates and information after coming back from school. Now, I pretty much have a like and dislike relationship with the game. While gameplay was fine, there was definitely more it could've improved upon.
While I understand the concerns and frustrations of people who donated to this and it kept being delayed, let me tell you,as someone who was staying positive about the whole thing: This game exceeded my expectations. Good things come to those who wait,my fellow Megaman fans. :') And for all you nit pickers, just accept it. Beck made it. >:)
tailedgates9 He made the money yea but anyone can lie to their audiences. As far as I know no one will want to work with Inafune now just a greedy jerk. If you liked Might No 9 then you probably haven't played a Mega Man game then. It desperately tries to copy it.

Megaman battle network 1-6, and even the obscurely terrible racing game, and he says that Mighty No.9 is AMAZING. Now, since he's played almost every game in the series AND truly understands what the classic games feel like, his opinion is GOLD. The game is, and I quote, "harder than Megaman 9," in his opinion as well. I'm not saying it's perfect (since no game ever is...), nor am I saying you're totally wrong, but my brother's opinion is equally, if not more valuable and respectable than yours, or any other haters out there.

Nice work, especially since the game is coming out in 3 days. I think I'm going to get it for the 3DS, Xbox One, and PS4. Mainly because my brother- who lives down at Florida -has both a Wii U and an Xbox One, and my little brother- who lives up here with me and my mother -has a PS4. The harmonies in the background are absolutely beautiful, the melody kinda ruins it but it's decent too, the key changes are pretty good. The OST is much better than the game.
There are actually a lot of great tracks in this game. This, Avi's News Report, Trapped by Laser Light, Beyond the Watery Vortex, Desolate Highway, Burning Military Base, Rush into the Mines, Sneak into the Prison, Trinity are all great to me, personally.
Mighty No. 9 will always live on in my heart as good concept art complimented with this amazing theme, AND NOTHING MORE
what about good story decent voice acting solid game play great boss fights the levels are decent

Mighty No. 9 is the G.O.A.T.!
Since the very first Kickstarter video I've loved this song.

After the rest of the soundtrack this song sounds like a blessing.
