    Learned more in less than 5 minutes than in an entire math unit with a bad teacher, thanks!

    Me watching and getting an add for math help :/ I ALREADY HAVE THE BEST HELP.
    They are trying to call videos like these "outdated" but math doesn't really get outdated

    how do i find the vertex point in a factored form of a quadratic equation?

    • @mattoucas869
      @mattoucas869 7 місяців тому +1

      You can find the axis of symmetry (the vertical line that cuts the parabola into two symmetrical parts which also has the same x value as the vertex point) by finding the average between the two zeroes. Now you just substitute the x value of the axis of symmetry into the equation and solve. You will end up with a "y =" statement which is the y value of the vertex and since the axis of symmetry has the same x value as the vertex, you just use that x value for the vertex.

    um so I watched the video from before and the 2 examples that you gave were ones with numbers multiplying with the x value on the second part of the standard form equation but this example at the start of the video has the x value by its self and you didn't show an example like that so if you want to know how to actually factor the equation use his video and another person video or maybe just another person video (sorry for the long comment)
